Low illumination imaging detection technology is widely used in the fields of astronomy,geology,biomedicine,public security and military.Therefore,real-time imaging processing technology in low illumination environment is a research hotspot.There are two main ways to realize low illumination real-time imaging,one is based on FPGA,the other is based on embedded ARM.Embedded imaging system includes embedded operating system,application program,peripheral equipment,etc.,which has the characteristics of small size,low power consumption,and Linux systems are opensource systems.Therefore,embedded ARM systems are gradually favored by people.With the advancement of China’s Industry 4.0 strategic layout,the trend of localization penetrates into various industries.Therefore,thesis selects the RV1126 domestic platform and GLUX9701 detector to build a low illumination embedded imaging system,and based on this,studies the low illumination imaging processing technology.The main work of thesis includes the following aspects:1.Functional requirement analysis and device selection.Conduct functional requirement analysis on imaging systems in low illumination environments,with a power consumption of ≤ 1 W;In terms of imaging quality,it should achieve an image signalto-noise ratio > 30 dB,image contrast > 35,and frame rate of 30 fps.On this basis,thesis introduced the selection of key components used and built a hardware platform for the imaging system.2.Design and development of detector driver.The imaging system in thesis adopted embedded Linux system,and designed the driver for the working mode and configuration parameters of GLUX9701 low illumination detector.The kernel of Linux system was customized and transplanted,the image collection was completed,and the output of Real Time Streaming Protocol(RTSP)based on RV1126 was realized.The imaging system achieved 30 frames stable image output at 1280×1024 resolution.In normal operation,the system power consumption was 0.72 W.3.Optimization of automatic exposure for low illumination imaging.Based on the characteristics of detectors and optical lenses,black level correction,bad point correction,and distortion correction functions was implemented on the RV1126 platform.Then,the parameter control method for automatic exposure was optimized through the exposure decomposition route.Based on the characteristics of low illumination environments,taking into account factors such as target brightness and exposure time,the automatic exposure function of the imaging system in low illumination environments was achieved and optimized.Finally,the gamma correction function was achieved through the table lookup method.Conduct quality analysis on the image,and the signal-to-noise ratio of the image in a low illumination environment was 31.9931 dB,with a contrast of 38.9772.
