After The Founding Of New China Pu Xixiu’s Journalistic Activities Research

Pu Xixiu,a famous Chinese female journalist in the 20 th century,has been working in the field for 20 years.She has a magnificent news practice,solid and rich gathering and writing skills,and wonderful social activities,showing her political character of loyalty to the Party,firm faith and excellent quality of news business.Like all outstanding patriotic intellectuals in modern times,during the Anti-Japanese War and the War of Liberation,Pu Xixiu was loyal to her duty,used the pen instead of the gun,took advantage of the possible conditions of Xinmin Daily,bravely stood at the forefront of the struggle,attacked the dark dictatorship of the Kuomintang,called for democracy and unity,after being arrested and imprisoned,showed the unflinchingly revolutionary integrity.After the founding of the People’s Republic of China,Pu Xixiu enthusiastically entered the work of Wenhui Daily.In the press activities,she actively publicized and implemented the Party’s principles and policies,made important contributions to the Party’s consolidation of the new people’s power,mobilized the masses to participate in the anti-American aid to North Korea,and promoted the development process of New China’s exploration of a new socialist country.However,at present,the academic circle has not given due attention to Pu Xixiu’s news activities after the founding of New China,which is not commensurate with her position in the history of Chinese news.First of all,this thesis checks the signed news works of Pu Xixiu in the original edition of Wenhui Daily,People’s Daily and Guangming Daily,and sorts them into a List of Pu Xixiu’s unpublished news works after the founding of New China,in order to research historical facts and enrich the research content.Secondly,taking Pu Xixiu’s news works after the founding of New China as the research object,this thesis analyzes the content of 150 news reports and summarizes the characteristics of Pu Xixiu’s news gathering and writing under different writing themes.Finally,on the basis of clarifying the track of her news activities,the uniqueness and value significance of Pu Xixiu’s news activities and news thoughts are studied after combining various political identities,so as to form an objective evaluation of her news activities after the founding of New China.
