The proliferation of false content, lack of copyright protection, and difficulties in tracing dissemination have not only hindered the development of the news industry, but also caused significant negative impacts on society.Due to its characteristics of openness, transparency, immutability, and traceability, blockchain has become a new force driving the reform of the news service framework. However, current blockchain-based news detection solutions still have shortcomings, such as low requirements for validators, which leads to many unreliable or even meaningless detection results. On the other hand,to enable news to circulate as a digital asset across different blockchain networks and achieve full lifecycle traceability, support from cross-chain technology is needed. However, reliable cross-chain solutions currently require heavy and expensive software infrastructure, and ignore the potential threats posed by extractable value in cross-chain transactions. To address these issues, this paper studies a blockchain-based news detection framework and a lightweight cross-chain solution, with the main work as follows:(1)Propose a news fine-grained detection framework based on blockchain. In order to avoid invalid detection,a fine-grained detection control strategy is adopted to push news to professional validators that match their attributes. To protect the privacy of validators,a combination of on-chain and off-chain authentication services is designed, and a location privacy protection scheme based on K-anonymity,Hilbert curve, and Minhash is used.In order to reduce the cost of interacting with the chain and improve the credibility of detection results,a six-stage submission protocol is proposed based on secret sharing technology and bidding auction concept.Validators need to submit encrypted detection results first and then decrypt them, while their consensus process is carried out off-chain.Finally,a news tokenization scheme is designed to optimize the way news copyright is controlled.(2)Propose a lightweight cross-chain protocol based on smart contracts. The protocol utilizes both an oracle and a relay to provide necessary information for verifying the validity of cross-chain transactions and achieve secure asset delivery across chains. To mitigate the potential harm caused by maximum extractable value, the relay is maintained by a group of bidders, and the resulting profits are shared by the community. To ensure inter-chain security isolation, different blockchains are managed by separate oracle entities, while the same oracle is used for applications on the same chain, thereby reducing redundant data synchronization costs. Finally,to ensure decentralization and reduce the cost of on-chain interaction, based on distributed key generation technology, the consensus process for relay nodes is carried out off-chain and without the need for any trusted entity to intervene.Combined with the above two works,a solution for the full lifecycle management of news is implemented. When news is detected and packaged into a non-fungible token with value properties and natively recorded on the blockchain,it becomes a digital asset.Users can choose to publish it on other blockchains,or authorize or sell it to other entities. On the other hand, news producers can set corresponding profit rules through smart contracts to achieve automation of circulation and transactions, providing a new way to improve economic benefits.Through cost analysis, performance analysis, and security analysis, the news service framework proposed in this paper has strong practicality.
