Multi-target track initiation is the process of track establishment before the target enters stable tracking,and it is also the key link of target tracking.The high quality track start in a short period can not only eliminate clutter and false targets quickly and effectively,but also be beneficial to the follow-up track maintenance and tracking,and can find new target tracks in time,so as to reduce the false alarm rate or missing alarm rate in the course of track processing.As the premise and basis of multi-target tracking,this paper studies the improved multi-target track initiation algorithm under different backgrounds.The main research contents and innovation points are as follows:Firstly,the original radar track data is divided into clusters by the density clustering method for the low track initiation rate in the background of dense clutter,and the clutter is removed adaptively according to the distribution characteristics of the tracks in the clusters,so as to effectively relieve the pressure of track initiation.Secondly,to solve the problems of high complexity and low starting rate of the traditional multi-hypothesis multi-target track initialization algorithm,an improved multi-hypothesis algorithm based on grid clustering was proposed.The grid clustering algorithm was used to eliminate the clutter points falling into the grid,so as to provide a low false alarm environment for the improved multi-hypothesis algorithm track initialization.For multiple target state estimation of each cluster by poisson’s birth and death process for each entity gives specific status: new goals,target survival,death,calculate each moment confirmation number track is a continuation of the measurement,the new target number,the number of false alarm measurement,simplifying the starting new target track correlation probability to partial correlation probability.The accuracy of the improved method is 10% higher than that of the traditional multi-hypothesis multi-target track initiation algorithm,and the false track initiation rate is reduced.Thirdly,in order to solve the problems of target loss and low filtering accuracy in the course of multi-target track initiation under maneuvering background,an improved adaptive correlation gate algorithm based on fuzzy reasoning is proposed.In traditional adaptive associated wave door track initiation algorithm on the basis of fuzzy reasoning method to improve the adaptive wavelet threshold of the door,the interacting multiple model combining multiple hypothesis tracking filtering algorithm,to acquire new interest from the filtering results,and statistical correlation number of echo wave gate will be the new rate and the number of echo as fuzzy input,set the corresponding fuzzy rules,After defuzzification,the output of the fuzzy system is the threshold of the adaptive correlative gate.This improved method reduces the number of clutter in the gate and improves the accuracy of trajectory initiation of maneuvering multi-targets.Finally,MATLAB programming is used to display the radar track data in real time on the computer,and a multi-target track initiation simulation system is realized.By comparing the improved method of this subject with the previous track initiation algorithm,the superiority and effectiveness of the algorithm in this paper are reflected.
