| In recent years,with the rapid development of Internet technology,enterprises are constantly adjusting their profit models in order to keep up with the pace of the Internet era,so that a variety of innovative profit models continue to emerge,the same for the video website industry.The profit model is the core advantage for enterprises to survive.At present,most video websites obtain traffic through continuous outsourcing or self-made high-quality content,and then rely on advertising business and member charging services to recover funds and create profits.However,Bilibili(hereinafter referred to as B station)is different from most video sites,and adopts a more community service approach to business.Although the overall performance of the video website industry is not bright enough,in recent years,WEBSITE B has continued to deliver its excellent business results and become the most concerned video website by users and investors.Its novel profit model and diversified business system can be used as the research object of the profit model of the new video website.This paper adopts case analysis method,literature research method and comparative analysis method.Based on domestic and foreign scholars’ research on the concept,elements,financial evaluation and profit model of video website,the new video website B is taken as the case study object.After a brief introduction of the basic situation of the company,From the profit point,profit object,profit source,profit leverage and profit barrier and other five elements of the current profit model,and then through the financial data published over the years from the profitability,solvency,operating capacity and development capacity of the specific analysis of its financial performance under the profit model.Profit point that B stand profit model exists in the income structure imbalance,the profit source-the user diversification demand is difficult to meet,profit object pay rate is low,high cost of lever and profit barrier,such problems as lack of core competitiveness gradually,overall B station existing profit model,constantly improve the development of the stage,but there are still problems.In so want to keep the advantage in competition in the industry,and achieve lasting profit,need to adjust the profit structure,optimize the profit point,upgrade the industry layout,improve the profit source,to provide quality content,optimize the profit object,control costs,increase profit leverage and orderly "circle",strengthening profit barrier,on the whole profit pattern optimization.It is hoped that this study can help enterprises improve their profit model,enhance their market competitiveness and break through the profit dilemma as soon as possible.At the same time,it also provides some reference for other enterprises in the video website industry to improve the profit model. |
