| At present,when the game between countries is becoming increasingly fierce,international competition not only tests the political and military hard power of each country,but also cultural soft power elements such as cultural influence and cohesion,and internal and external cultural images have also become important considerations.As a carrier to show the soul and strength of the Chinese nation,the image of Chinese culture is a key link in my country’s foreign propaganda.In recent years,the construction of China’s cultural image has received multi-dimensional assistance such as policy support,capital assistance,and technological empowerment,which has certain advantages and necessity.In order to deeply explore the optimization path of discourse strategies for the construction of my country’s foreign cultural image,this thesis takes the multi-modal discourse strategy as the starting point,selects the official mainstream short video program "China Mosaic" as the research object,and explores its impact on Chinese culture at the micro level of discourse.Image construction.As a typical dynamic discourse,the program includes multiple semiotic systems such as language modality,visual modality and auditory modality.In the study of the discourse meaning of a single modality,this thesis introduces the grammatical theoretical framework of each modality,combines quantitative and qualitative research methods,and discovers the main effects of language modality,image modality and sound modality in shaping Chinese cultural image The performance is as follows: 1.Improve the understanding of Chinese culture by Western audiences,2.Close the distance between audiences and Chinese culture communicators,3.Boost the emotional communication of cultural stories and other dimensions.In the study of the synergistic effect of multiple modalities,this thesis introduces the comprehensive theoretical framework of multimodal discourse analysis for analysis,and finds that the main role of the multimodal interaction combination is reflected in: the emphasis of Chinese cultural information,the concretization of content,and the immersion of communication change.When the focus of multimodal synergy is placed on the shaping of cultural images,it is found that the complete discourse significance of the program discourse of "China Mosaic" lies in the impact of "poetic China","ancient civilization","perceptual collective" and " The outline of cultural images such as "Innovative Powerful Country".In order to improve the scientificity and rationality of the research conclusions,this thesis introduces the research method of in-depth interviews in Chapter 5.Through the design of interview questions,the selection of representative figures,and the recovery and summary of survey content,combined with grounded theory,it focuses on exploring the "Three China The actual effect of "Minutes" in the construction of cultural images,and explore the important role of multimodal discourse in it.Finally,after synthesizing the multimodal discourse analysis framework and the above-mentioned findings,this thesis summarizes the progressive discourse strategies used by "China Mosaic" in constructing the image of Chinese culture in Chapter 6: the program’s internal and external cultural contexts Based on the consideration of the content,the diversification and characteristic benefits of modal content were played,and the new media advantages of short videos were fully utilized to grasp the psychology of overseas audiences,and finally realized the landing of an excellent Chinese cultural image.The main purpose of this thesis is to "research on the multimodal discourse of representative short video programs on the construction of Chinese cultural image",in order to provide some reference and reference for the relevant discourse research on the construction of Chinese cultural image. |
