The higher carrier frequency and the use of space division multiplexing access technology lead to the reduction of the adaptability of traditional wireless channel models and analysis methods.In order to quantify the attenuation and multi-path transmission effects of high-frequency radiation sources,ray-tracing method is introduced into the field of wireless channel analysis.It uses the Geometric Optics and the Uniform Theory of Diffraction to track the transmission trajectory of electromagnetic beam in space,and completes the analysis of wireless electromagnetic field in combination with the surrounding environment information.Based on the classical theory,this paper will carry out the research on ray tracing algorithm.The specific work and innovation are as follows:(1)Combing with the practical application strategy of ray-tracing algorithm,the consistent corner diffraction model is optimized by this paper.The improved corner diffraction model in two-dimensional case is obtained through mathematical derivation,then treated in engineering.The new model solved the computational limitations of the original model in some tracking scenarios,and simplified the operation process.The approximate calculation method is used to solve the problem of diffraction ray calculation at corners.(2)The single ray model cannot consider multi-path propagation in ray tracing.In order to solve this problem,a new algorithm which can traverse all kinds of propagation phenomena is designed by this paper.The algorithm considers the multi-path problem in the same spatial angle,which can track various propagation trajectories,such as direct,reflection,edge diffraction,corner diffraction.In the calculation of corner,the diffraction in three-dimensional space is transformed into vertex angle diffraction in two-dimensional plane through dimension reduction which can be calculated by the improved model.(3)The calculation results of the improved model and the original model are compared.From the numerical results,the new model is consistent with the original model in most incident scenes.The data transmission mode between GPU and CPU is reasonably planned to realized above ray-tracing algorithm with the help of Optix parallel computing platform.Other electromagnetic calculation software was used in the same scene to verify the tracking effect of the new algorithm.Finally,a larger scene is selected to test the tracking logic and effect of the new algorithm.From the calculation results,the new ray-tracing method has accurate calculation results and certain speed advantages in large scene.
