Airborne Antenna Optimized Layout

In this paper, some important problems related with radiation patterns of airborne antennas are intruduced. They include modeling about the configuration of the aircraft; he Uniform geometrical theory of diffract ton(UTD) and the Ray tracing methed. Firstly, a number of possible models of aircraft are discussed and evaluated. And an appropriate model is chosen for analysis. And then, based on the simplified model about the Uniform geometrical theory of diffraction are given, finally, Ray tracing are introduced. The applications to various cases are discussed, Furthemore the correspondings of analysis and calculation on radiation patterns of airborne antennas are developed. The suggested model discussed of aircraft in this paper is general, and is useful for reference to the other flying vehicles.
