Abstract/Summary:
This thesis is a study-research book report. This paper mainly introduces the channel capacity of the Massive MIMO model. The Massive MIMO model is a MIMO model in which the number of base station antennas is much larger than the number of user terminal antennas, and Channel State Information is obtained by transmitting pilot signals from the user equipment to the base station. The channel state information is considered to remain unchanged within a coherence interval, which in turn consists of large-scale fading and small-scale fading. We can use this coherence interval to transmit signals using frequency division multiplexing and time division duplexing. The MIMO model is a multiple-input multiple-output information transmission model,so the channel state information of the MIMO model is represented by a matrix. The massive MIMO model improves the channel capacity by improving the spectrum efficiency of the unit frequency band. The massive MIMO model is further divided into a SingleCell System and a Multi-Cell System.Among them, the effective signal-to-noise ratio of single-cell System increases linearly with the increase of the number of base station antennas,so there is no theoretical upper bound for the increase of channel capacity. There is an upper bound on the effective signal-to-noise ratio of the multi-cell MIMO model, and the value of this upper bound is related to the strength of the inter-cell pilot interference. Finally,in order to optimize the information transmission efficiency of each user equipment, the optimization of power control coefficients is introduced to provide the same information transmission efficiency for users within whole network or within each cell.Among them, the power control coefficient optimization criterion is a fair criterion that maximizes the minimum effective signal-to-noise ratio.
