With the rapid development of emerging technologies such as cloud computing and big data,network application services continue to increase,and the network scale of data centers continues to expand.However,the traditional network routing technology and load balancing strategy can barely meet the increasing service quality requirements of data centers,and data center networks are facing key challenges of scale expansion and service quality assurance.Segment routing,as a new type of network technology,has features such as source routing and statelessness,and provides new ideas for centralized optimization and distributed intelligence for data center network routing scenarios.Based on the segment routing technology and combined with the centralized scheduling advantages of Software Defined Networking(SDN),this paper optimizes the existing routing methods and load balancing strategies.It designs a segment routing method for rule-oriented data center networks.The main research work is as follows:First of all,this paper proposes an SDN-based Regular Topology Segment Routing(RTSR)method.This method focuses on regular network topology scenarios,exploits topology regularity to accelerate routing calculations and realizes segment identification distribution and management.We also design a hybrid and complementary routing method of local routing and global routing: the switch is responsible for basic routing scenario of the shortest path and the controller is responsible for complex routing scenarios such as failure recovery,reducing the cost of routing requests and controller calculations.Also,we uniformly using the segment list as the carrier of the routing control strategy to ensure the consistency of the network state,designing the local abnormality sensing mechanism of the switch to verify the validity of the source routing path.It avoids forwarding data flows to abnormal links.Secondly,this paper proposes a regular topology load balancing method based on segment routing.This method dynamically divides data flows into large and small flows according to traffic characteristics,and executes different routing algorithms for large and small flows respectively,so as to meet the quality of service requirements of different data flows.When the controller selects a route for a large flow,it comprehensively considers the link bandwidth and path delay and other factors to calculate the approximate path,and uses the inter-segment multi-path transmission mechanism of segment routing to improve the network throughput of the large flow.When the switch selects routes for small flows,it uses the local anomaly sensing mechanism to avoid faults and congested links in time,and uses the Equal Cost Multipath(ECMP)mechanism to realize multipath transmission,which shortens the average flow completion time of small flow.Finally,based on the Mininet network simulation tools and Ryu controller,this paper verifies the effectiveness of the RTSR routing method and load balancing method.The simulation results indicate that under different network scales and traffic modes,the RTSR routing method proposed in this paper effectively reduces the end-to-end delay and control message overhead,and the load balancing method effectively improves the average link bandwidth utilization and network throughput while ensuring the quality of service for each data flow,showing excellent routing performance and load balancing performance.
