With the development of cloud computing and Io T,the Data Center Interconnect(DCI)network needs to be deployed with greater reliability and flexibility.Segment Routing(SR)provides a flexible, salable way to deply source routing. With the advantage of SR,the DCI control plane can be simplified and the interaction with Software Define Network(SDN)controller can be reduced. The main contents of this thesis are as follows:Aiming at the problem of slow convergence of traditional DCI,SR technology in Wide Area Network(WAN)or DCI scenario, realizes fast convergence of fault scene with TI-LFA technology, provides 100% fault protection and faster convergence time(within 50ms).The feasibility of this scheme is verified by simulation and experiment. In the aspect of traffic optimization, there are some problems such as the frequent interaction between SDN controllers and network nodes, traditional traffic engineering(TE)is complicated.SR-TE is used to deploy traffic engineering to realize strict explicit path control of traffic. As a source routing technology,SR technology only needs a small amount of interaction with the source nodes. Therefore, with the help of SDN controller, the calculation results of PCEP are sent to network devices to realize the deployment of traffic engineering. The experimental results also verify the advantages of SR-TE.Using the SR to archieve fast convergence and traffic engineering,it brings many benefits.SR technology can also be used to bulid the foundation of DCI,the overlay services such as Vx LAN and L3 VPN can be directly deployed. In this thesis we use Huawei NE40 E and CE12800 to build the DCI with SR,to verify the flexibility and reliability in SR environment.
