The rapidly changing needs of the consumer market have given rise to a new trend toward customized production,which means that production systems can be automated to meet order requirements.In production systems,components are heterogeneous and change frequently.To address the need for customized production,this paper designs a component-integrated manufacturing middleware based on cloud-native manufacturing architecture.By introducing technologies such as microservice orchestration,service mesh,continuous integration/continuous deployment and workflow engines,this middleware can unify the management of software and hardware components in a customized production system,including containers,services,models,data,workflows,etc.Experiments show that this middleware provides multiple flexibilities for the production system and enables the cyber-physical production system to support personalized customized production.The main research of this paper is as follows.First,the macro background of personalized production is introduced,the special requirements of personalized production scenarios are explored,and the concept of cloudnative manufacturing components is designed.Cloud-native manufacturing components are software and hardware assets in the production system that are managed in a unified manner through information technology,enabling easy access to the cloud computing platform.Such components are elastic,capable of releasing component capabilities through microservices,and accepting cloud server scheduling.Second,a cloud-native manufacturing component integration middleware architecture is designed.The middleware is designed as client–server model,with the middleware client acting as an asset administration shell for the hardware and software in the system,responsible for directly managing the information of each component and uploading it to the server;the middleware server is responsible for managing the information of all components of the entire production system and integrating various components together to form a foreground business with practical significance.Then,the modules of the cloud-native manufacturing component integration middleware are designed on the basis of this architecture.The management capabilities of the middleware include model,data,container,service,workflow,and security capabilities.The first five are designed as independent management modules,and the security capabilities are provided by each module together.This paper details how the joint collaboration of the modules can provide multiple flexibilities for the production system.Finally,an experimental platform for customized production system is built based on this component integration middleware.The experimental platform can support the plug-and-play of hardware and software to achieve rapid system changes;it can support the automated production of customized orders and the autonomous scheduling of each component in the system to complete the production process.The experiments prove that the production system based on this middleware can meet the needs of customized production. |
