The rapid growth of wireless communication services has increased the energy consumption of cognitive wireless sensor networks and nodes.The limited energy of sensing nodes has become one of the key factors restricting the future development of wireless sensor networks(WSN).Energy harvesting wireless sensor network technology(EH-WSN)is an important solution for solving this problem.Effective modeling of energy harvesting and network operation rules is the premise of WSN energy efficiency analysis.In this paper,the EH-WSN network operation rules are modeled,based on the energy harvesting characteristics,the WSN performance indicators and network performance evaluation rules are studied,which provides methods and guidelines for WSN optimal design.The specific research is as follows.First,for the stochastic process of energy sources,a multi-state energy harvesting model is established.Using this model to model the energy arrival process of EH-WSN;through the Markov birth and death chain to model the harvesting process of different energy sources,a multi-state energy collection model is obtained.Simulation experiments verify that the model can describe the energy harvesting process more accurately than the traditional On-Off energy harvesting model.Secondly,according to the WSN network operation rules,a Geom / Geom / 1 queuing model with a limited energy buffer is constructed to model it;through the discrete-time Markov birth and death chain method,the important performance indicators expressions of EH-WSN are obtained,such as data packet loss rate and first break time.The relationship between the random change process of the energy source and the performance of EH-WSN,and provide an effective analysis method for the design and optimization of EH-WSN are described.Finally,according to the characteristics of WSN multi-channel,the discrete-time Geom/ Geom / c / c queuing model of the finite energy buffer is constructed to model the network,and the EH-WSN data packet loss rate and first break time and other important system performance indicators are obtained.Through the system simulation to obtain the energy balance point analytical solution and to compare the effects of different channel conditions on EH-WSN performance.
