| C-RAN is a green wireless access network architecture which is based on the centralized processing,real-time collaborative radio and cloud computing architecture.It puts forward a new type of wireless access network architecture which is based on network conditions now.It is a trend of the current advances in technology.Its essence is to realize resources sharing and dynamically scheduling,improve the spectrum efficiency and the utilization rate of baseband processing resources and to achieve low cost,high bandwidth and high flexibility of operation by reducing the number of base station room,reducing energy consumption and using collaborative technology,virtualization technology.C-RAN overall goal is to solve the operators’ challenges which are brought by the mobile Internet rapid development(energy,construction and operational costs,spectrum resource)and to pursue sustainable business and profit growth in the future.A key goal of C-RAN is to maximize the utilization rate of baseband processing resources as much as possible,improve the throughput of system and reduce the power consumption of baseband pooling.So how to efficiently implement flexible scheduling of computing resources in the baseband pool is becoming a hot spot of C-RAN architecture research.Based on the scenario of C-RAN architecture characteristics,we put forward an effective virtual machine scheduling scheme.First of all,this paper put forward a kind of virtual machine scheduling scheme based on pipeline of multi-user under the architecture of C-RAN.In the scheme,we elaborate on how to design this pipeline efficiently and reasonably,in the largest processing time of each user’s frame packet,we press multi-user’s frame packets into the pipeline to process.We schedule virtual machines to host the module computing tasks of a single pipeline.We schedule every baseband processing module of the pipeline to the appropriate virtual machine to minimize the baseband processing time of a frame packet.We can get the virtual machine configuration results of the pipeline and the maximum carrying capacity of the pipeline.Then,the scheme presents the corresponding virtual machine scheduling algorithm based on the pipeline.Finally,the virtual machine configuration results of the pipeline and the maximum carrying capacity of the pipeline are given under the condition of different parameters.Then,from the perspective of green energy-saving of baseband pool,we put forward a kind of virtual machines scheduling scheme of low power consumption in the baseband pool which is based on C-RAN architecture.The scheme can schedule virtual machines to physical servers and select the appropriate physical servers to host the computing tasks of virtual machine.The scheme can reduce the power consumption of baseband pool significantly under the condition that each virtual machine must finish the computing tasks in a limited time.At the end of the scheme,the corresponding scheduling algorithm is given in this paper,the proposed algorithm is verified by simulations that it can reduce the power consumption of baseband pool significantly under the condition that each virtual machine must finish the computing tasks in a limited time. |
