Abstract/Summary:
At present, our primary school mathematics textbooks implement the policy of "multiple standard".Through the comparative research of different versions of textbooks,we can not only deeply understand the methods and ideas of the implementation of the subject matter of textbooks, but also promote the improvement of textbooks.Among the many textbook versions, the textbook of elementary school mathematics of Human Education edition and Beijing Normal University edition is widely used throughout the country, while the Qingdao edition has strong local characteristics. Therefore, this paper chooses the textbooks of these three versions for comparative analysis.Circles are widely used in daily life, and are also very important research objects in math courses. The circle is the first curve graph that students study in primary school. In the process of learning the circle, students can experience a lot of novel mathematical ideas, and constantly improve their thinking level when solving problems related to the circle. Therefore, the knowledge of the circle is very important. In this paper, qualitative and quantitative methods are adopted to make a comparative study of the content of "circle" in the three textbooks from three aspects: textbook content arrangement, example exercises and mathematical culture.Through the comparison of content arrangement,it is found that the three versions of textbooks guide students to conduct inquiry learning with the help of situations and problem strings, and the contents pay attention to the correlation between mathematics and life as well as the penetration of mathematical thoughts and methods. The difference is that the human education version has the most abundant knowledge points,Beijing Normal University version pays attention to reasoning and inquiry, while Qingdao version has clear links and prominent and clear key and difficult points.Through the comparison of exercises,it is found that exercises of the three versions of textbooks are hierarchical and have a strong life atmosphere. The difference lies in that the humanistic and educational edition pays more attention to the correlation between knowledge points, while the Beijing Normal University edition focuses on students’ understanding of the essence of knowledge, while the Qingdao edition focuses on fundamentals and calculation. The comprehensive difficulty of exercises in Beijing Normal University edition and Human Education Edition is higher than that in Qingdao edition.Through the comparison of mathematical culture,it is found that the three textbooks have designed interesting mathematical culture contents, and the contents related to mathematics, life and history of mathematics are more, while the contents of mathematics, science and art are less. The difference lies in the different application levels and functions of the mathematical culture of the three editions.By comparison,Beijing Normal University edition has a higher application level of mathematical culture, which is mainly used to expand students’ thinking, while the humanistic edition and Qingdao edition mainly provide context and background for students to learn knowledge.According to the comparison conclusion and the guidance of the new compulsory education mathematics curriculum standard issued in 2022,This paper further puts forward some suggestions on the compilation and revision of textbooks and teaching. The compilation of textbooks should strengthen the cohesion and transition between some contents, guide students to master the review methods, enhance the thinking content of mathematical culture, and increase the number of open questions in exercises.Teaching design should be based on unit integration, actively use multimedia, teaching AIDS and learning AIDS,guide students to explore activities at different levels, and encourage students to diversify their problem-solving methods.
