The concept of number is an important part of children’s mathematics.It holds an important place in the elementary school mathematics course, it is not only a connection between a positive integer and decimal bridge, is the junior middle school stage extend the concept of rational Numbers. In addition, the knowledge is an important part of mathematic ability, students around the world have to learn Fraction, however, research has shown that scores of learning is a quite difficult for a child.Singapore and China have the same culture. In recent years, Singapore have learn the western thought and experience to hold the math education reform, forming its own characteristics. All of world pay attention to Singapore’s achievements of the elementary school mathematics education reform and follow it. So, the comparative analysis of elementary school mathematics textbook will give a fast development of new curriculum of China.This research mainly adopts the literature review method, text comparison and statistical analysis method to find the difference of Fraction on the elementary school mathematics textbook between China and Singapore. The material are the Chinese version of the teaching material and Singapore Singapore "My’Pals are Here! Maths2nd Edition," second Edition. Finally, I proposes some suggestion to promote our country’s elementary school mathematics textbook in order to adapt to new curriculum. Research findings and conclusions are as follows:(1) Compared with the fraction content of Chinese textbook, the fraction content in Singapore textbook appear earlier, have more knowledge, pay more attention to the cultivation of the students’ ability to explore.(2) Compared with the fraction content of Singapore textbook, the sample of fraction in Chinese textbook use more intuitive model situation and more abundant illustrations.(3) Compared with the fraction content of Singapore textbook, the fraction content in Chinese pay more attention to study students to gain knowledge such as concept, operation ability, reasoning ability, ignoring the ability to use fraction to solve practical problems.This research offer some proposals for the fraction content of Chinese textbook:(1) Pay more attention to the application of mathematical activities.(2) Cultivate students to solve problems with mathematics knowledge.(3) Pay attention to the integration of information technology and grade mathematics curriculum.(4) Pay attention to the integration of family education and school education.There are some shortages in this research:As time limited, this research didn’t conduct classroom observation, which will be conducted in following research.
