Research background: Currently,we are in the great era of reform and opening up and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,China’s modernization construction requires a large number of high-quality talents,and college students often encounter physical and health problems in real life.The issue of college students’ sports literacy has attracted widespread attention from the country and society.Research purposes: Firstly,by understanding the evaluation systems,evaluation tools,and research status of sports literacy at home and abroad,construct an evaluation index system for college students’ sports literacy.The second is to investigate and study the current situation of college students’ sports literacy,analyze the problems existing in students,and propose training strategies.Research object and method: The research object is the evaluation index system of college students’ sports literacy,and the survey object is college students from 9universities in Tianjin.Comprehensive use of literature,questionnaire,Delphi method method,analytic hierarchy process,mathematical statistics,logical analysis,to build a sports literacy evaluation index system.Research results:(1)Screen and determine the importance of sports literacy evaluation indicators,and ultimately determine 7 first level indicators,18 second level indicators,and 49 third level indicators as evaluation indicators for college students’ sports literacy.(2)The weight ratios of the seven first level indicators are 10.65% for sports knowledge,17.24% for sports skills,9.78% for sports behavior,32.68% for physical fitness level,6.26% for sports awareness,19.07% for sports morality,and4.3% for sports personality.(3)The overall level of sports literacy among college students in Tianjin is average,and there are 7 strategies for cultivating their sports literacy.Research conclusion:(1)The consistency test results of the evaluation indicators for college students’ sports literacy show good results,which can be used as an evaluation indicator for college students’ sports literacy.(2)By using the group decision-making function,the weights of each indicator in the evaluation index system are calculated to obtain the weights of various levels of evaluation indicators for sports literacy.(3)The overall level of sports literacy among college students in Tianjin is average,and there are seven strategies for cultivating their sports literacy: 1.Improve teaching content and increase the proportion of sports knowledge in teaching.2.Universities offer a variety of sports options and increase investment in venue,equipment,and class hours.3.Help college students improve their level of sports behavior.4.Take multiple measures to improve the physical fitness level of college students.5.Cultivate students’ awareness of lifelong physical education.6.Establish correct sports values and enhance students’ sports ethics.7.Establish a diverse sports personality.
