Thrift is the traditional virtue of the Chinese nation.It is still necessary to promote thrift in the new era.The purpose of researching thrift education for college students in the new era is to provide new ideas and perspectives for reference to enhance college students’ thrift awareness,cultivate college Students’ thrift virtues,and promote college students to actively practice thrift.The main body of the thesis is mainly composed of three parts.The first part is an overview of thrift education for college students in the new era.Based on defining the related concepts of thrift education for college students in the new era,the thesis clarifies the characteristics and significance of thrift education for college students in the new era.The second part is the research on the current situation of thrift education for college students in the new era.First of all,the thesis discusses the results of thrift education for college students in the new era from the following four aspects: the implementation of the relevant requirements of the education authority on thrift,the integration of thrift education in the education and teaching process,the continuous improvement of college students’ thrift awareness,the effective curbing of the social atmosphere of extravagance and waste.Secondly,combined with the results of the questionnaire,the thesis summarizes the following four problems in thrift education for college students in the new era: Colleges do not pay enough attention to thrift education.The teaching integration of thrift education needs to be further deepened.The thrift awareness of college students needs to continue to improve.The atmosphere of thrift education needs to be further optimized.Finally,the thesis analyzes the reasons for the problems of thrift education for college students in the new era from the following four aspects: Reconstructing the concept of thrift is a gradual process.The teaching material system has not been fully transformed into a teaching system.College students’ consumption has irrational characteristics.The wrong view of consumption has brought bad effects.The third part is the research on the path of thrift education for college students in the new era.In response to the above problems and reasons,the thesis proposes specific solutions from the following four aspects: strengthening the construction of campus culture about thrift,deepening the integration of thrifty education in college education,stimulating the inner motivation of college students to thrift,and creating a good thrift education atmosphere.
