In recent years,the educational circles have paid close attention to the topic of core literacy,which has transformed our basic education and provided theoretical support for the reform of Chinese teaching.The primary school stage is the foundation and key stage of cultivating students’ language ability,and the teaching of senior grade plays a crucial role.For a long time,the exercise teaching of senior primary school students has been the pain and difficulty of our teaching.In practice teaching,our front-line teachers often face many teaching difficulties.Based on the perspective of Chinese core literacy,the research on the teaching of senior grade exercises in primary schools will bring new inspiration to our teaching.As an advanced Chinese teaching concept,Chinese core literacy has provided guidance for the teaching of writing in the senior grades of primary schools.Its essence is consistent with the attribute of writing teaching to educate people.Both emphasize the realization of all-round development of people,and all pursue “cultivating all-round development of people”.Therefore,it is very necessary to study the teaching of senior grade exercises in primary schools based on the core quality of Chinese,which is an urgent requirement of the new era.Chinese core literacy has four dimensions of literacy,namely,language construction and application,thinking development and promotion,aesthetic appreciation and creation,and cultural inheritance and understanding.It has three distinct characteristics,namely,comprehensiveness,practicality and development.The core quality of Chinese puts forward higher requirements for the writing teaching of senior primary school students in the new era,which requires that the writing teaching should focus on improving people’s language,thinking,aesthetic and cultural qualities.However,in the current primary school senior grade composition teaching,the phenomenon of breaking away from the core quality of Chinese is relatively serious.In the reality of teaching,there are several problems,such as the teaching objectives pay too much attention to the training of composition skills,the teaching content is limited to the content of the textbook itself,the teaching process despises the guidance of scene creation and evaluation,and the teaching design lacks attention to cultural quality.This research has analyzed the corresponding reasons from the four dimensions of the core quality of the Chinese language in view of these problems,namely,the lag of the concept of writing teaching,the relatively low professional quality of Chinese teachers,the deviation of the positioning of writing teaching,the habit of paying attention to the cultivation of examination-oriented ability,the loss of writing teaching function,the lack of highlighting aesthetic appreciation and creative ability,the narrow content of writing teaching,and the neglect of students’ cultural literacy.On the basis of combining the problems and reasons in the teaching of exercises for senior primary school students at the present stage,this study puts forward corresponding optimization strategies,which are to update teachers’ teaching concepts,improve teachers’ professional quality,clarify the positioning of exercises teaching,improve the evaluation and assessment mechanism,change the methods of exercises teaching,highlight aesthetic appreciation and creativity,expand the contents of exercises teaching,and focus on improving students’ cultural accomplishment.By putting forward these strategies,we hope to better help the implementation of Chinese core literacy in the teaching of senior grades in primary schools,and achieve a higher level of writing teaching in senior grades.
