With the rapid development of Chinese economy,science and technology in recent decades,especially the popularization of quality education,compared with the previous society and families pay more attention to students’ academic performance,now more and more attention to students’ aesthetic ability and aesthetic education quality.Compared with primary and middle school students,the status quo of aesthetic education of college students cannot be ignored.Normal university students are the most important reserve talents for future primary and secondary school teachers.They are not only the educated people who receive aesthetic education in colleges and universities,but also the teachers of aesthetic education in primary and secondary schools in the future.At present,they are in an important stage of transition from adolescence to adulthood,and their psychological changes are increasingly complex and diversified.This is the importance and necessity for normal university students to have a higher aesthetic quality.The undergraduate period is also a key period for them to carry out aesthetic education.This study starts with exploring the current situation of the aesthetic literacy of normal university students in Shanghai S University,forms a conceptual framework based on previous research results,and uses the researcher adapted questionnaire as a tool to investigate some normal university students and non-normal university students in Shanghai S University to understand their aesthetic literacy.According to the data collation and analysis,the following main survey results are obtained: normal university students all agree that aesthetic education is an indispensable part of college education,aesthetic quality is an important part of a person’s comprehensive quality,and they have a clear awareness of the importance and necessity of aesthetic.The main problems are as follows: the overall level of normal university students’ aesthetic quality is not high,and its performance in all aspects is not balanced,the overall situation is worrying and in urgent need of improvement;The disconnection between the high consistent aesthetic tendency and the low achievement of teaching aesthetic skills;Normal university students have a series of problems such as lack of aesthetic creation ability.Combined with its influencing factors and data analysis,this paper puts forward specific countermeasures and suggestions to improve the aesthetic quality of normal university students.First of all,it is necessary to make clear the necessity and importance of improving the aesthetic quality of normal university students,especially from the perspective of colleges and universities,attach importance to the training of normal university students’ aesthetic quality,and penetrate it into all aspects of the training of normal university students.So that normal university students can gradually improve their own aesthetic consciousness and initiative;Secondly,it is necessary to connect the aesthetic education of colleges with the stage of primary and secondary schools to enhance the consistency and coherence of aesthetic education.Finally,the college should focus on improving the teaching aesthetic skills of normal university students,combine with the training program of normal university students,combine with the characteristics of specific disciplines,and cultivate them in a targeted way,so as to effectively improve the aesthetic quality of normal university students.
