Chemistry is an experiment-based subject.Chemical experiment plays a very important role in chemistry teaching.The Chemistry Curriculum Standards for Regular Senior High Schools(2017 edition)also proposes to carry out a variety of exploration activities focusing on chemical experiments.However,after the 179 teachers and 347 students from 14 middle schools in Zhangjiakou city were investigated about the experiment development and the current situation of the experiment teaching.It was found that there were some problems such as low student participation,insufficient number of laboratories and ignoring the importance of chemical experiments.We have developed the advanced teaching design concept study.We found that the teaching effect of conventional experiments is not ideal.The miniaturization experiment is suitable for the inquiry experiment teaching.It allows more students to explore their experiments.Therefore,in view of the requirements of the new curriculum standard,the current situation of high school chemistry experiments in high school and the unsatisfactory routine experiments in inquiry experiment teaching,some high school chemistry miniaturization experiments should be developed to solve some existing problems.Firstly,the relevant literature on the miniaturization experiments has been studied.The three characteristics of the high school chemical miniaturization experiment and the six principles of the experimental miniaturization improvement were summarized.According to the principle of experimental miniaturization improvement and the analysis of previous research results,the four experiments of chlorine gas preparation and property test experiment,sodium and water reaction experiment,copper and nitric acid reaction experiment,ammonia gas preparation and property test experiment were improved.The improved experimental instrument was more in line with the improvement principle of miniaturization experiments.The improved experimental instrument is more miniature and portable,with a small amount of reagents,higher safety,obvious phenomenon and no pollutant discharge.It had complied with the improved principles of miniaturization experiments.Chlorine and Its Chlorine and Nitrogen and its compounds were selected as the teaching content,and the teaching design of inquiry experiment teaching was conducted.Chlorine and its Compounds is the new lecture.The content of chlorine gas was integrated and the process of experimental miniaturization improvement in inquiry experiment teaching.It allowed the students to complete the chlorine gas learning in the inquiry.Nitrogen and its compounds are review lessons.The course is taught according to the context of elements and price changes.Experimental experimental experimental refinement was also added to the instructional design.Through the real experimental process,the students’ learning enthusiasm is aroused.It enables the students to use the experimental exploration to complete the review.Finally,two classes of grade one were selected for teaching practice.The effect of teaching practice is analyzed by classroom observation scale,after-class exercises and questionnaire survey.The analysis results found that the miniaturization experiment has obvious effect in classroom teaching,.It can stimulate students’ interest in learning.It can foster a sense of teamwork and innovation.It improves students ’participation in the classroom and deepens students’ memory and understanding of the experimental phenomenon.It has produced a good teaching effect.It plays an important role in improving students’ chemical core literacy.
