With the continuous development of Internet technology, the impact of network technology on education has also gradually increased. The online education model has been expanded rapidly around the world, and has been used in classroom learning by some universities in the world.Grasping the continuity of online education is an important key factor in improving the overall education market. In view of the various causes of learning effects, academic performance is one of the important factors to test the learning mode of online education, and students’ learning behavior is the most direct factor causing changes in academic performance.Compared with other academic education, master degree education adopts the teaching method of online learning on a larger scale in consideration of different social nature of learners,so that more learners can obtain relevant degrees. The learning environment, learning purpose, and learning methods of online education play a great role in the online learning behavior of students of different age groups. In terms of online master’s degree education, adults,as a group with strong learning goal orientation, will have different internal and external factors to affect their own learning behavior, which will lead to changes in academic performance. This paper takes the impact of learning behaviors on academic performance in distance education as the background, takes students’ click behavior, social background(age, predegree and annual salary)and course difficulty as the research object, and explores the significant impact of students’ clicks times on academic performance,as well as the promotion of social background factors and course difficulty to this effect.First of all, through the analysis of relevant domestic and foreign literatures on online education, adult education, and learning behavior influencing factors,it summarizes the current situation and shortcomings of relevant empirical data surveys and theoretical concept contributions in the existing literature. On this basis, using the empirical analysis method, with the background of an online postgraduate Chinese program in a foreign university, various data of 589 postgraduates in an 8-week online class were collected, and the students’ online operation behaviors were classified and determined. The variable factors affecting students’ learning and learning behavior were constructed by the ordinary least squares method(OLS)to construct a fixed-effect model. At the same time, the cross-term analysis of the moderating variables was carried out to determine the significant effect between the variables. Finally, through the method of questionnaire survey, collect students’ feedback on their own learning behavior, including the purpose of clicking behavior in the online learning platform, student satisfaction evaluation, and resource management strategy statistics to conduct a mechanism analysis of learning behavior and learning effect. The research results of this paper: When other factors remain unchanged, the number of online learning clicks of students has a significant positive impact on academic performance. At the same time, under the adjustment of the four variables of age, education, annual salary and course difficulty, the respective influences on the dependent variable and the independent variable also showed a promoting effect.Among them, age and annual salary will reduce the promotion effect of clicks on academic performance, and education will increase the promotion effect of clicks on academic performance.Besides, course difficulty will also weaken the impact of the number of clicks on the academic performance. In addition, adult learners tend to tend to a fixed learning location and maintain an effective focus when conducting online learning. At the same time, adult learners will immediately enter the learning state after logging in to the online learning platform to start learning.Their learning goals are very strong, and they rarely click without reason.
