The curriculum concept of the "Chemistry Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)" points out that teachers should carry out core competency-oriented teaching activities in the teaching process,create an educational environment that can guide students’ active participation,and guide students to learn with individuality in the process of questioning,investigation,inquiry and cooperation,so that each student can fully develop.With the advancement of the new curriculum reform,the requirements for teaching design and classroom teaching are getting higher and higher,which requires highlighting students’ subjectivity,transforming the master of the classroom into students,stimulating students’ enthusiasm for learning,allowing students to actively participate in the classroom,so that they can master knowledge and skills in a pleasant atmosphere and cultivate scientific literacy.In order to respond to the requirements of the new curriculum standard,further understand the situation of students’ active participation in chemistry classroom,guide teachers to carry out reasonable teaching design,and actively promote the change of students’ learning style,this paper takes 192 students and 43 teachers in Grade 3 of middle school in Liaocheng City as the research object,and investigates the attitude and understanding of junior high school students’ active participation in chemistry classroom teaching activities.According to the investigation,the teaching design and strategies to promote the active participation of junior high school students in chemistry classroom teaching activities are explored.Firstly,literature analysis and questionnaire survey were used to understand,sort out and summarize the current situation of junior high school students’ active participation in chemistry classroom teaching activities,and to determine the necessity and effectiveness of junior high school students’ active participation in chemistry classroom teaching activities.Secondly,the questionnaire of junior high school students’ active participation in chemistry classroom teaching activities was compiled,and the collected data were processed and analyzed.Thirdly,the principles,contents and links of promoting junior high school students’ active participation in chemistry classroom teaching activities are analyzed,and combined with the survey results and principles of teaching design,the "five moves" teaching strategy is proposed to promote students’ active participation in the classroom.Finally,according to the teaching process and the proposed teaching strategy design of three specific teaching cases and teaching practice.Teaching practice has proved that junior high school students actively participate in chemistry classroom teaching activities,can better let students actively "heart","hand","brain","mouth" and "emotion" in the classroom fully active,achieved the ideal teaching effect.The research shows that:(1)The "five movements" teaching strategy that promotes junior middle school students to participate in chemistry classroom teaching activities can effectively promote junior middle school students to actively participate in chemistry classroom teaching activities.(2)It is effective to promote junior high school students to actively participate in the design of chemistry classroom teaching activities.Through the teaching practice of the three cases,we can see that this kind of teaching is very popular with students,and the effect of teaching experiment is obvious.(3)Junior high school students’ active participation in chemistry classroom teaching activities is not only conducive to the cultivation of students’ self-study ability,exploration and innovation ability,but also conducive to teachers’ professional growth.The innovations of this thesis:(1)Applying modern teaching theories and methods,combined with the existing actual situation and the author’s existing practical experience,a questionnaire on the current situation of junior high school students’ active participation in chemistry classroom teaching activities was compiled,which provided a reference for future research on junior high school chemistry teaching.(2)The "five movements" strategy to promote students’ active participation in classroom teaching activities is proposed and the teaching practice is proposed,which can provide reference for the teaching of middle school chemistry teachers.
