Collective Memory Of Folk Sports "Yin Yang Board

As a folk sports activity in Houbaligou Village,Gangshan Street,Zoucheng City,Shandong Province,Yin Yang Plate was included in the fifth batch of national representative items of intangible cultural heritage in 2021,and has become an important cultural business card of Houbaligou Village.This study uses documentary data method,participatory observation method and oral history and other research methods,and investigates and studies the yin and yang plate from the perspective of collective memory in Baligou Village as a case,and explores the cultural connotation and epochal value of the yin and yang plate of folk sports by combing the collective memory of different historical periods of the yin and yang plate of folk sports,investigates and analyzes the dilemma of sustainable development of the yin and yang plate of folk sports,and puts forward targeted solutions to solve the problem,aiming to better protect and inherit the traditional sports intangible cultural heritage of China.The results of the study concluded:First,the space for the formation of the collective memory of the yin and yang plate of folk sports was explored.Houbaligou Village is the birthplace of the folk sports "yin and yang plate",located in a hilly area,because the terrain is more complicated,the circulation of water vapor is hindered to a certain extent,so it is mostly dry weather.Because in ancient times,people mostly fed on the mandate of heaven,ten years and nine droughts,people prayed for heaven to send ganlin,pray for smooth wind and rain,and abundant grains,so sacrifices and rain prayers were very popular,and folk sports "yin and yang plate" also came into being.Second,the development process of the yin and yang plate of folk sports was sorted out.The yin-yang plate is a joint construction of diverse cultures that coexist in various historical stages.Originated from the yin and yang plate during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty,because of the frequent drought at that time,the activities of the yin and yang plate were mainly based on worshiping gods and praying for rain;In the Kangqian period,when the economy was prosperous and the society was stable,people began to enrich their spiritual life in addition to meeting the needs of food and clothing,and the yin and yang plates with entertainment properties were more prosperous during this period;In the turbulent environment of modern society,the yin and yang plate has almost disappeared;With the baptism of reform and opening up,the yin and yang plate regained its brilliance during this period.Third,the cultural symbolic connotation of folk sports yin-yang plate props and costumes and the ritual activities of yin-yang plate in different periods were explained.Some external cultural symbols of the yin-yang plate,such as props,costumes,etc.,are stored in people’s memories in physical form,reflecting the social existence and social continuity in various historical stages.Through generations,the yin-yang plate has always maintained its original ritual form,and after the ups and downs of the times,its traditional ritual has disappeared for various reasons.After the excavation of contemporary inheritors,the long-lost yin and yang plates have returned to people’s sight.On the basis of retaining its original form,the yin-yang plate of the "new era" has also made further innovations in the form of expression and action arrangement.Fourth,the function of folk sports yin and yang plate to integrate collective memory is analyzed.As far as the yin and yang plate is concerned,it is more manifested in integrating fitness into the national fitness strategy,participating in festivals and celebrations with entertainment,and maintaining the emotional connection of villagers with cohesion;Compared with Houbaligou Village,the birthplace of the yin and yang plate,it is specifically manifested as a booster for village social governance,village economic development and village cultural construction.Fifth,Thoroughly investigate the inheritance dilemma of the yin and yang board of folk sports,and forward reasonable inheritance countermeasures.From the perspective of collective memory,the study of the inheritance of folk sports yin and yang plates shows that in the current development process,the yin yang plates face problems such as reduced inheritance space,lack of inheritance subjects,insufficient inheritance motivation,and poor inheritance effect.In view of these problems,this paper proposes: by strengthening the linkage between government and villages,a suitable inheritance environment for the yin and yang plates of folk sports is created;Give play to the inheritance role of school education and expand the main body of yin and yang plate inheritance;Enhance the cultural confidence of the yin-yang plate through innovative forms of expression;It is better inherited and protected by improving the static protection form of the yin and yang plate of folk sports,and disseminating and promoting the excellent traditional culture of the yin and yang plate of folk sports.
