With the proposal of the strategy of cultural power,cultural education has become an educational goal and ideal pursuit of schools.The construction of campus culture in colleges and universities has gradually changed from the extension development to the concursive development.The campus slogan,a cultural symbol,has also entered the public’s vision and become the object of people’s attention.Campus slogan is written in the education field of the school with a short text to the teachers and students have education,publicity,guidance function of the slogan,it is not only an important carrier of campus culture construction,but also a hidden curriculum of school education,through creating a strong cultural atmosphere,in the imperceptible effect on students.As an important cultural symbol in the university,the campus slogan is a concise expression of the university culture,which also contains the educational concept and value orientation of the university,and has a certain cultural education function.However,there are still some problems in the construction of campus culture in the university.The degree of emphasis on campus slogans is still relatively low,and a good campus slogan culture has not been formed.Therefore,how to excavate the cultural connotation and educational value of campus slogans and make them better play the function of cultural education is an urgent problem to be solved.The theory of symbol interaction provides a theoretical basis for exploring the mechanism of campus slogan culture education.Campus slogan education is actually a process of communication and interaction between educators and educatees with the help of the cultural symbol of campus slogan.In this process,there are not only the indirect symbol interaction between educators and educatees,but also the interaction between "master self" and "guest self" of educatees.Along with the interaction between educatees and important others,the educational influence of campus slogans continues to expand.However,at present,through the observation of three universities and interviews with teachers and students,it is found that there are still some problems in the process of interaction between campus slogans and teachers and students,such as teachers’ narrow awareness of interaction and lack of correct cognition of campus slogans.Students lack the subject status of interaction,and their participation in campus slogan design is low.The interactive content symbol is low quality,and the campus slogan is unattractive;The interactive situation lacks aesthetic feeling,and the slogan space setting is unreasonable;The way of interaction is relatively simple,one-way language infusion,etc.The reasons are as follows: first,educators’ role play is wrong and they ignore their own identities as researchers and managers;Second,students lack self-education due to insufficient interaction between the subject and the guest;Third,the campus slogan symbol itself is lack of cultural,lack of meaning construction;Fourth,the construction of campus cultural environment is insufficient,and students’ definition of the situation appears deviation;Fifth,language violence under the power of symbols leads to the loss of emotional symbols.Based on the campus slogans problems in the process of culture education,university to better play to the culture educating function of campus slogans,must deepen the role of teacher in the interactive cognition;Stimulate students’ subjective consciousness in the interaction with slogans;Optimize the quality and layout of campus slogan cultural symbols;Create a cultural situation of harmonious coexistence with campus slogans;Construct a dialogue space full of humanity and emotional expression.In short,through the discussion of education issues related to campus slogans,on the one hand,it is beneficial to promote the construction of campus culture;On the other hand,it is conducive to promoting students’ self-education,cultivating college students with all-round personality development,and to a certain extent,it can provide a direction for school education reform.
