| With the continuous advancement of the new curriculum reform,a hundred flowers bloom in the English textbook market.Each region can choose the appropriate textbook for teaching practice according to the local teaching situation and learning conditions and other factors.With the changes of the times,textbooks also need to be updated,so it is necessary to study textbooks.But there are many versions of textbooks,so they also face some problems in textbooks’ analysis and application.English education in Hong Kong is similar to that in the mainland and has always been highly advanced and representative,which is worth exploring and learning.This study selects the PEP(Jing Tong)primary English and LANGMAN Welcome to English to analyze the language knowledge content of the two textbooks by literature analysis,comparative study and text analysis respectively.In the process of research,English curriculum standard documents of the two places are mainly used for reference.According to the specific requirements of the curriculum standards for primary school English learning objectives,this paper selects English language knowledge as the research content and makes a comparative analysis from the aspects of pronunciation,vocabulary,grammar,topic and function.The introduction of this study briefly describes the research background,research objectives and content,research significance,research methods and ideas.The second part summarizes the existing research results about English textbooks and the content of language knowledge to do a simple sorting and analysis.The third and fourth parts introduce the theoretical basis of this study and the division of the comparative dimensions of language knowledge content.The fifth part focuses on the presentation,comparison and analysis of the language knowledge of the two sets of textbooks from five aspects: pronunciation knowledge,vocabulary knowledge,grammar knowledge,topic content and functional items.The sixth part summarizes the content of language knowledge of the two sets of textbooks,and sorts out the similarities and differences in language knowledge,so as to make suggestions for English teachers to use English textbooks much better. |
