| Advocating inquiry learning is an important task of the current curriculum reform.The biology curriculum standard for compulsory education(2011 Edition)clearly states that teachers should attach importance to the teaching of scientific inquiry activities,guide students to carry out inquiry learning,and achieve the overall improvement of students’ biological science literacy.According to the spirit of the curriculum standards,the current versions of junior high school biology textbooks have designed a wealth of inquiry activities.How to effectively carry out biological inquiry activities in the actual teaching is an urgent problem to be studied in the current biology teaching.In order to better understand the development of inquiry activities in biology teaching in junior middle schools in Linyi area,the current situation and Countermeasures of inquiry activities in biology teaching in junior middle schools in Linyi City were studied,hoping to provide reference for front-line teachers to carry out inquiry activities in biology teaching and improve the effectiveness of inquiry activities.The following studies were carried out:Firstly,through the analysis and overview of relevant literature at home and abroad,this paper summarizes the research status of inquiry activities at home and abroad,defines the relevant concepts of inquiry activities,summarizes the theoretical basis of inquiry activities,and analyzes the purpose and significance of this study.Secondly,the questionnaire survey method is used to investigate the current situation of biological inquiry activities in junior middle schools in Linyi city.The results of teachers’ questionnaire survey show that most teachers have a deep understanding of inquiry activities,have a positive attitude,and can seriously carry out relevant activities;It has been carried out well and achieved certain results;Inquiry activity teaching needs to be further deepened from external operation training to internal thinking training;Some teachers’ evaluation of students’ performance in inquiry activities is biased;The development of biological inquiry activities is influenced by many factors;There is a formalized phenomenon in the actual development of biological inquiry activities.The results of student questionnaire survey show that most students have high enthusiasm to participate in biological inquiry activities,but they do not have a comprehensive understanding of the contents of the activities;Some students’ enthusiasm and enthusiasm for biological inquiry is not high because of their unhealthy psychology.Thirdly,the research activities in the textbook of Compulsory Education Biology published by the people’s education press in 2013 are deeply analyzed from three aspects: type,quantity and distribution.On the basis of the above work,this paper puts forward specific teaching strategies for carrying out biological inquiry activities from the school management level and the teacher level.Based on the above strategies,each type of inquiry activity is selected in the PEP textbook to design teaching cases and apply them to teaching practice.The results show that the inquiry activities in biology teaching in junior middle schools in Linyi area are well carried out,but there are still some problems.The strategies proposed in this paper can effectively improve the effectiveness of the inquiry activities in biology teaching in junior middle schools in this area. |
