The Chinese Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 Edition,revised in 2020)puts forward the core quality of "development and improvement of thinking",and clearly requires "development of critical thinking ability and improvement of thinking quality".The curriculum content appears in the form of learning task group,among which the task group of "reflective reading and expression" puts forward new teaching requirements for teachers,and the text of the unified compilation of senior high school Chinese textbooks used in conjunction with the curriculum standards is also more and more prominent,so the cultivation of critical thinking ability is getting more and more attention.Reading teaching as an important part of high school Chinese teaching is to cultivate students ability of important ways,in the reading teaching should take the student as this,fully mobilize students’ initiative,guiding students to find problems and solve the problem in the text understanding,agreed with what the purpose of promoting the thought,realize the development of thinking and the goal of ascension.This paper uses literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and other research methods to discuss the cultivation of critical thinking ability in Chinese reading teaching in senior high school,based on reading teaching,and considering the learning situation of senior high school students,trying to find effective ways to improve students’ critical thinking ability.The thesis is divided into five chapters: Chapter one summarizes the concept of critical thinking ability,analyzes the characteristics of critical thinking ability on this basis,and determines the core elements of critical thinking ability.Chapter two explores the necessity and feasibility of cultivating critical thinking ability in Chinese reading teaching in senior high school.This paper discusses the necessity of cultivating critical thinking ability from three aspects: the demand of social development for talents,the importance of curriculum standards and the requirement of proposition reform.This paper expounds the feasibility of the cultivation of critical thinking ability in Chinese reading teaching in senior high school from two aspects:the characteristics of thinking development of senior high school students and the favorable conditions of Chinese subject.The third chapter,through questionnaire,interview and classroom observation,finds out the problems of the cultivation of critical thinking ability in the current Chinese reading teaching of senior high school.As far as students are concerned,the main problems are the lack of questioning and reflective consciousness,which are the important factors of forming critical thinking ability.As far as teachers are concerned,the main problems are improper methods of cultivating critical thinking ability,inadequate evaluation of students’ answers,and failure to create a good classroom critical atmosphere.The fourth chapter,aiming at the problems existing in teaching,puts forward the countermeasures to cultivate students’ critical thinking ability,which mainly includes five aspects: first,change the concept and pay attention to the cultivation of critical thinking ability;Second,optimize resources and enrich the content of speculative teaching;Thirdly,the cultivation of critical thinking ability runs through the whole teaching process.Fourth,regulation and policy implementation to promote the overall improvement of critical thinking ability;Fifth,multiple evaluation to consolidate the cultivation of critical thinking ability.The fifth chapter presents and analyzes the teaching design of "Six States",aiming at concretely explaining how to combine the characteristics of text in the teaching of Chinese reading,actively pay attention to and effectively cultivate students’ critical thinking ability,in order to provide useful reference for the teaching of Chinese teachers.
