Coupling matrix synthesis theory is widely used and indispensable in the design of passive devices such as filters and multiplexers.The traditional coupling matrix theory is suitable for narrowband device design,but for wide-band device design,the comprehensive theory of wide-band coupling matrix is more instructive.At the same time,the wideband coupling matrix is more closely related to the actual circuit model,which is of great significance to explore the potential of microwave passive devices.The main work and innovations of this paper are as follows:(1)In view of the incomplete definition types of traditional LC resonators,this paper divides the coupling coefficients into 16 types,covering all possibilities and realizing the correspondence among the definition,equivalent circuit and extraction formula of the coupling coefficients.(2)Traditional coupling matrix synthesis does not distinguish between series and parallel resonance,nor does it consider the influence of S parameter definition.Therefore,in this paper,the series and parallel resonance coupling matrices are derived respectively,the traditional power wave S parameter is defined as the voltage source S parameter,the dual current source S parameter is proposed,and the comprehensive theory of four types of complex impedance coupling matrices with phase shift is given.(3)In view of the fact that the existing wideband coupling matrix synthesis does not consider the complex impedance ports,this paper proposes the synthesis theory of complex impedance wideband coupling matrix distinguishing the series and parallel resonance wideband coupling matrix,and the influences of transmission zero order,phase regulation factor,S parameter type and other parameters are considered.A general linear topology transformation method and a fast linear topology transformation method for low order wideband coupling matrix are presented.(4)The wideband coupling matrix theory is applied to the synthesis design of multiband filters.Based on the traditional multiband synthesis method,two iterative methods of generalized Chebyshev multipass filter response in bandpass domain are proposed.By applying multiband synthesis method,a multiband impedance transformer synthesis theory is proposed and realized(5)The wideband coupling matrix theory is applied to the synthesis design of multiplexer.Based on the topology of traditional multiplexer,four kinds of star topology bandpass multiplexer are proposed,and the corresponding iterative generation methode for multiplexer response are derived.The complex impedance S parameter calculation of the multiport wideband coupling matrix are obtained,so does the extraction method of star topological multiplexer...
