We should think of the same when we see the good and reflect on the bad.Model education is a more traditional and effective education method in moral education,which is deeply loved by teachers in ideological and political education.Influenced by the times,high school ideology and politics textbooks continue to push the envelope,and the selection of role models has become more diversified and attractive.The role models in the textbooks can not only provide demonstration,help students understand excellent moral quality,and promote their own moral cultivation.On the other hand,the interpretation,further study,and imitation of the deeds of the role models will help students to further transform the moral quality of learning into practical actions and truly realize their own development.For society,it will help accelerate the construction of a civilized society.Therefore,it is necessary to analyze and study the new changes of the role models in the textbooks.With the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the content of high school ideological and political textbooks has also been updated and changed.To better use the model education method in teaching and better play the role of model characters,the author has comprehensively used comparative analysis,statistical analysis,comprehensive analysis,using literature reading to analyze the changes of exemplary characters in high school ideological and political textbooks.For the exemplary characters in the Ministry of Ideology and Politics and the old version of Ideology and Politics,this topic focuses on the following aspects for comparative analysis.This paper defines the concepts of"role models"and"role model characters"in the literature review and introduces the research results of some scholars on the role model characters in high school ideological and political textbooks.In the main body of this article,the first part introduces the theoretical support of the use of role models in the ideological and political teaching of high school and the important role of the use of role models in education.The second part describes the reasons for the changes in the selection of role models from the old version of the ideological and political textbooks of high school to the new version of the ideological and political textbooks of high school.The third part is the focus of this topic,by comparing the number,occupation,number,quality,distribution in the textbooks and the core values of socialism of the model characters in the new and old high school ideological and political textbooks,the characteristics of the model characters in the new version of the textbooks are summarized.The fourth part,in view of these prominent characteristics,combined with the specific examples of role models in the textbooks,based on the characteristics of high school students’psychological development,puts forward the corresponding teaching strategies of using role models in teaching.Finally,in the face of the new situation of textbook changes,we should summarize the new changes,use new methods,fully reflect the nature of the ideological and political course in high school,and promote the real transformation.
