| This study aims to investigate the relationship between physical education learning environment, general self-efficacy,and soccer enjoyment among middle school students.A questionnaire survey was conducted among 1,000 middle school students from ten schools in Qingdao city. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive analysis, independent sample t-test,and variance analysis.A structural equation mediation model was constructed to determine the mediating effect of general self-efficacy between the learning environment of physical education and enjoyment of soccer among middle school students. The findings of this study can provide a theoretical basis for exploring the impact of physical education learning environment on soccer enjoyment among middle school students. The results show that:(1)the quality of the sports learning environment affects the level of general self-efficacy among middle school students(β=0.315,CR=7.590),and a good environment can significantly improve students’ general self-efficacy level;(2)general self-efficacy level affects the enjoyment of football among middle school students(β=0.384,CR=9.521),and high self-efficacy level can bring high enjoyment;(3)the quality of the sports learning environment directly affects the enjoyment of football among middle school students(β=0.357,CR=7.151),and a good environment can improve students’ enjoyment of football;(4)the individual general self-efficacy level can indirectly affect the influence of the sports environment on students’ enjoyment of football, with the mediating effect of general self-efficacy accounting for 31.09% of the total effect. The study concludes that a good sports learning environment can enhance the enjoyment of football among middle school students, and general self-efficacy plays a partial mediating role in the relationship between the sports learning environment and enjoyment of football. |
