| In the 20 th National Congress report,General Secretary Xi Jinping underscored the significant importance of comprehensively deepening reforms in the new era for achieving a Chinese-style modernization,and called for strengthening the study and education of the "Four Histories" throughout society.As one of the "Four Histories," the history of reform and opening up embodies rich teaching resources and serves as a vibrant teaching material for high school ideological and political courses.The innovative spirit it encompasses is also a crucial tool for forging a new path amid changing circumstances.The application of reform and opening up history resources in high school ideological and political courses is based on the practical needs of students and the realities of the times,as well as the necessity of enhancing the effectiveness of ideological and political education.The utilization of reform and opening up history resources in teaching has inherent justifications and significant implications.These resources aid in creating topical contexts,facilitating profound thinking among students,nurturing their ideals and beliefs,and integrating small-scale ideological and political classrooms with the broader social classroom.The teaching content of high school ideological and political courses is closely intertwined with the history of reform and opening up.Proficient utilization of reform and opening up history resources can enhance the effectiveness of the ideological and political discipline in education,assist in establishing problem-oriented teaching contexts,actualize the core literacy of the curriculum,promote students’ understanding of historical materialism,and address challenges in the realm of ideology.However,there are currently some issues in the utilization of resources in this regard.Therefore,I have taken this as the primary focus of my research,employing methods such as literature analysis,interviews,and case studies to dissect the main problems and reasons for using reform and opening up history resources in high school ideological and political teaching.The main problems include teachers excessively focusing on political discourse in the classroom,disregarding the excavation of factual resources,and neglecting the discernment and exploration of historical knowledge.Teachers passively integrate resources into their teaching,lacking skillful application and appropriate timing.Students lack practical opportunities and insufficient integration with the broader social classroom.These problems primarily stem from limitations in the conditions for utilizing reform and opening up history resources,teachers’ inadequate research on reform and opening up history,and limited materials in the unified textbooks.Based on the current issues at hand,the key strategies that can be adopted are as follows: Teachers should thoroughly study the factual information of reform and opening up history based on clarifying the teaching objectives of ideological and political courses.They should integrate historical facts with political discourse,achieving consistency between theoretical logic and historical logic to promote the realization of teaching objectives.Teachers should diligently review the textbooks,study the curriculum standards,actively explore the parts of the teaching content that align with reform and opening up history resources,and integrate the teaching content.Teachers should consciously employ various reform and opening up history materials,stories,conclusions,and other resources during the introduction,delivery of new lessons,and summary stages,creating a sense of immediacy in teaching contexts and optimizing the teaching process.Teachers can rely on reform and opening up resources and proactively utilize various historical legacy resources during the teaching process to strengthen post-classroom practice,organize students to engage in research trips and practical investigations,and enable high school ideological and political courses to yield practical results. |
