The class teacher in primary school is an important person who carries on the daily ideological and moral education to the primary school students and manages the class,and also a life tutor who accompanies the healthy growth of the primary school students.The education department of the state attaches great importance to the work of class teachers and the construction of class teachers.The class teacher plays an important role in the class management,taking on the task of cultivating students,guiding the formation of students’ values,promoting the development of students’ personality and overall development,and promoting the development of the class.Primary school is the beginning of compulsory education and the foundation stage for teenagers to receive quality education.The class management ability of the class teacher in primary school has a fundamental and long-term influence on the primary students who have just entered the formal education system.At present,many class teachers in primary schools are young people entering the teaching team for the first time,or just graduated from normal colleges or universities or public funded normal university students,class management work for the first time,it is inevitable that there is a lack of management experience and management methods,their class management ability needs to be improved.Therefore,it is of practical significance to pay attention to the current situation and influencing factors of the class management ability development of the novice class teachers in primary schools.Only primary school novice class teachers’ class management ability to get comprehensive development,and in the process of class management to give full play to their class management ability,then we can shape a good class environment for the comprehensive development and growth of pupils,and promote the smooth progress of school education and teaching work.This paper takes Fessler’s teacher career cycle theory as the theoretical basis,takes the primary school class teachers in L district,L City,S Province as the investigation objects,adopts questionnaire survey and interview survey methods,and draws lessons from the class management competence dimension divided in the policy document "Guiding Standards for Primary and Secondary School Teacher Training Curriculum(Class Management)".This paper studies the status quo of the class management ability of novice primary school class teachers in five aspects: class collective construction,class activity organization,student development guidance,comprehensive quality evaluation,communication and cooperation,as well as the status quo of the role of organizational environmental factors and personal factors in the growth of the class management ability of novice primary school class teachers.By comparing and analyzing the novice class teachers and experienced class teachers in the same survey items,this study highlights the status quo and main problems of the development of class management ability of the novice class teachers in primary schools.The results showed that the growth of some class management ability of the novice class teachers in primary schools lags behind;Primary school novice class director is not willing to serve as a class teacher;The learning autonomy of the class management ability of the novice class teacher in primary school needs to be improved;Primary school novice class teachers class management ability growth lacks the support of external organizational environment,etc.According to the current situation of class management ability of novice class teachers in primary school and the effect of influencing factors on their class management ability revealed in the survey results,the existing problems are analyzed,and the main reasons for the problems are the unclear responsibility and role orientation of novice class teachers in primary school.There are insufficient supportive measures within the school organization for the growth of class management ability of class teachers;The government’s policy support and attention to improving the class management ability of class teachers are insufficient.Therefore,from the individual,the school and the government three levels,put forward a series of measures to improve the class management ability of primary school novice class teachers: individual pay attention to the comprehensive development of their own class management ability;The school optimized the organizational environment for the growth of the class management ability of novice class teachers;The government should strengthen the attention and policy support for novice class teachers.
