In the context of deepening physical education curriculum reform,it is particularly crucial to change the philosophy of physical education classroom teaching.2022 China’s new round of physical education curriculum reform program has put forward clearer requirements for school physical education teaching,to continuously innovate the teaching mode,improve the quality of education,and promote the cultivation of students’ core literacy.In recent years,mini basketball has been developing,but the current mini basketball class is slightly single and fixed in terms of teaching content and teaching methods,making it difficult to respond to the relevant requirements of the curriculum reform.With the landing of the KDL curriculum,its curriculum concept and innovative physical education teaching model provide a new perspective for campus physical education,which can better meet the needs of the current physical education curriculum reform.Based on this,the purpose of this study is to promote students’ love for mini basketball through teaching practice by drawing on the KDL curriculum concept.This paper uses scientific research methods such as the literature method,questionnaire survey method,mathematical and statistical method and teaching experiment method.Firstly,the connotation of the KDL curriculum concept was explored,and an experimental programme for teaching mini basketball was designed according to the KDL curriculum concept.Secondly,students from two classes of the third grade of Dongying Le’an Primary School were selected for the experiment,and relevant evaluation indicators were chosen,i.e.physical quality,basketball movement skills,knowledge of small basketball theory,interest in learning mini basketball,affective performance and cooperation spirit,and the statistical results of the experimental and control classes were The analysis was carried out.The following results were obtained from the analysis.(1)In terms of physical fitness,there was a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class in all dimensions after the teaching experiment(p<0.05).(2)In terms of mini basketball skills and theoretical knowledge,there was a significant difference between the experimental and control classes in shooting(P < 0.05)and a highly significant difference in the scores of dribbling,passing and catching and theoretical knowledge(P<0.01).(3)In terms of interest in learning mini basketball,there were significant differences between students in the experimental and control classes in terms of sports participation(P<0.05)and highly significant differences in the three dimensions of positive interest,negative interest and independent learning(P<0.01).(4)In the dimensions of affective performance and cooperative spirit,there were significant differences between the experimental class and the control class(P<0.01).The following conclusions were drawn:(1)The KDL curriculum concept applied to the teaching of mini basketball is more effective in improving students’ physical fitness.(2)The KDL curriculum concept applied to the teaching of mini basketball can better help students learn the technical movements and theoretical knowledge of basketball through structured teaching.(3)The KDL curriculum concept is applied to the teaching of mini basketball with more emphasis on fun and can effectively stimulate students’ interest in learning.(4)The application of the KDL curriculum concept to the teaching of mini basketball can effectively improve students’ affective performance and cooperation skills through cooperative learning in groups. |
