Research On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Life Education For College Students In The New Era

Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,and the main contradiction of our society has been transformed into the contradiction between people’s growing need for a better life and unbalanced and insufficient development.In this context,people’s understanding and pursuit of cultural life has also changed profoundly,from simple "visual enjoyment" in the past to deeper "spiritual feeling",no longer satisfied with superficial appreciation,but the pursuit of inner affluence and spiritual level of satisfaction.Xi Jinping pointed out in the report of the 20 th Party Congress: "When the youth are strong,the country is strong.The youth of today’s China are born at the right time,and there is a vast stage for their talents and a bright future for realizing their dreams." Youth is the future of the motherland and the hope of the nation.The construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era is inseparable from the all-round development of college students,and thus we should unswervingly promote the development of life education for college students in the new era,guide them to establish correct life values,and let them have a positive attitude of loving life,cherishing life and revering life.Strengthening life education for college students in the new era is conducive to promoting the healthy development of individual college students’ personalities,realizing their aspirations for a better life,and maintaining a more harmonious and stable society in the new era.Based on the interpretation of the life education of college students in the new era,the study is based on the Marxist values of life,the concept of life in the excellent Chinese traditional culture and Xi Jinping’s important discussion on "life first".The literature research method,inductive research method,field observation method and case study method were used to study and analyze the current situation of life education for college students in the new era.Combining the practical cases of many colleges and universities in China and the field visits to some colleges and universities in Sichuan,we learned that the life education of college students in the new era has achieved certain results.Specifically,the Party and the State attach great importance to life education,and life education policies are constantly improved;colleges and universities respond positively to support,and life education methods are increasingly diversified;family education is constantly improved,and life education atmosphere is increasingly strong;social atmosphere is constantly improved,and life care awareness is constantly enhanced.Due to the lack of self-life education and blurred value orientation,the importance of colleges and universities still needs to be improved and the investment is limited,there are certain deviations in family education and inappropriate management methods,and the social value tendency keeps changing and the public opinion environment is complicated.The life education of college students in the new era has some shortcomings as follows: the content of life education of college students in the new era needs to be enriched;the way of life education of college students in the new era needs to be innovated;the effect of life education of college students in the new era needs to be improved.For the life education of college students in the new era,it is suggested to provide some help for the development of life education of college students in the new era through such countermeasures as mobilizing the subjective initiative of college students in life education;giving play to the main position role of colleges and universities in life education;attaching importance to the basic role of family in life education;advocating the complementary role of society in life education.Due to the lack of self-life education and blurred value orientation,the importance of colleges and universities still needs to be improved and the investment is limited,there are certain deviations in family education and inappropriate management methods,and the social value tendency keeps changing and the public opinion environment is complicated.The life education of college students in the new era has some shortcomings as follows: the content of life education of college students in the new era needs to be enriched;the way of life education of college students in the new era needs to be innovated;the effect of life education of college students in the new era needs to be improved.For the life education of college students in the new era,it is suggested to provide some help for the development of life education of college students in the new era through such countermeasures as mobilizing the subjective initiative of college students in life education;giving play to the main position role of colleges and universities in life education;attaching importance to the basic role of family in life education;advocating the complementary role of society in life education.
