In recent years, the cases that college students commit suicide hurt others and animal have occurred frequently. The phenomenon that university students who indulge in network neglect their studies, waste life has become a major challenge that universities of China are facing. Why do the high-quality college students can not deal with life rationally? This cannot but arouse our reflection. In addition to social, family and their own reasons, the gap of college life education is also a key factor of causing these issues. Some college students of China can not form a correct scientific sense of the life, leading to lose their spiritual world caused by the lack of education. So, life education research and practice has become one of the most urgent tasks of China's higher education, it has become the consensus of educators to enhance the life awareness of college students through the life education, life education as an important subject placed in the university education.In our country, the study of life education has just started, a variety of theoretical viewpoints are in the contending state, the meaning of life education is not uniform and there is no conclusive theoretical system. It is few and few to approach life education of universities for theoretical circles. This paper attempts to analyze the reality of university students and higher education, put forward the main elements of college life education and explore the feasible paths for the implementation of life education in colleges through interpreting the meaning of life education, drawing on practical experience of life education at home and abroad. This paper is with a view to providing a meaningful reference for college life education theory and practice of research.This paper is divided into five parts. The first part is introduction. Basis of topic, research background of this paper and the situation of study of life education home and abroad are described in this part. The second part is theoretical inference of life education. This part starts from the interpretation of theoretical contents of life education, sums up the ancient and modern thinkers view of life and life education, in order to lay a theoretical basis for exploring the life education. The third part is College students Investigation and analysis of status quo of view of life, through the questionnaire of college students view of life, knowing the actual status quo of view of life of contemporary college students, and analyzing and summarizing the reasons, establishing a realistic basis for the further research of life education. The fourth part is the content of life education of colleges and universities. This part explores how to build the goals of life education in university and its main content. The fifth part is the ways of life education.
