At present,Jiangxi Province is at a key stage of transformation and upgrading,which needs vocational education to provide strong support for skilled talents,and puts forward higher requirements for the vocational ability of secondary vocational students to help Jiangxi Province achieve high-quality development.This paper focuses on the reality of vocational ability of secondary vocational students in Jiangxi Province,and explores the effect and degree of its influencing factors.On the basis of theoretical and empirical analysis,this paper provides feasible suggestions for the in-depth development of vocational ability of secondary vocational students.In order to ensure that the sample data in this paper can better represent the average level of secondary vocational schools across the province,and choose secondary vocational schools with different educational levels to provide more objective feedback information,this paper selected four secondary vocational schools(including technical schools)belonging to Jiangxi Province,city and county as representatives of secondary vocational schools.Finally,the students and teachers majoring in the application of numerical control technology were selected as the research objects,and a questionnaire on the status quo and influencing factors of vocational ability of secondary vocational students in Jiangxi Province was designed by comprehensive use of literature research and interview.The questionnaire passed the reliability and validity test in the pre-test stage,and then was officially issued.SPSS26.0 statistical software was used to carry out a series of descriptive statistical analysis,difference analysis,correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis on the recovered valid questionnaire data,so as to explore the current situation and influencing factors of vocational ability of secondary vocational students in Jiangxi Province.Through data analysis and interviews with teachers,it is found that: first,the vocational ability of secondary vocational students in Jiangxi Province is generally at an average level,and there are some poor performance in the specific indicators of the sub-dimensions of professional ability,methodological ability and social ability.Vocational ability and its sub-dimensions have significant differences in grade and parents’ highest education level,but no significant differences in student origin.Second,self-cognitive planning,school organizational security,teachers’ ability level and enterprise practice learning are positively correlated with vocational ability of secondary vocational students;Thirdly,the results of multiple linear regression analysis show that self-cognitive planning,school organizational security and teachers’ ability level all have significant positive effects on the vocational ability of secondary vocational students,among which self-cognitive planning has the strongest impact on the vocational ability of secondary vocational students,followed by school organizational security and teachers’ ability level,and enterprise practice learning has no significant impact on vocational ability.According to the research conclusion and theoretical basis,this paper puts forward the vocational ability improvement strategies of secondary vocational students in Jiangxi Province from the individual level,school level and teacher level.Specifically,students should strengthen their professional cognition and understanding at the personal level and clarify their career development plan;Two-way promotion of school-level curriculum base to promote the deep integration of production and education;At the teacher level,optimize the construction of teachers and systematically improve the teaching level.
