Project-based learning is a student-centered model of learning that promotes learning through inquiry and aims to solve real-world problems through exploration and collaboration and seeks to develop students’ integrative skills through practice.Project-based learning in music is an application of project-based learning in the discipline of music that allows students to engage in in-depth and sustained exploration of problems and realities related to the discipline of music over a period of time.According to the actual situation of primary school music course teaching,this study discusses the curriculum development design and practical teaching of music project learning.This study explores the curriculum development design and practical teaching of music project-based learning based on the current actual situation of elementary school music curriculum teaching.This paper starts from the following aspects: firstly,analyzing the relevant literature of project-based learning at home and abroad,describing the origin and development of project-based learning and the related discourse of music project-based learning;secondly,analyzing the problems of project-based learning in teaching;then,selecting the content of teaching materials,designing and implementing projects to develop singing ability;finally,analyzing the relevant factors affecting elementary school music project-based learning,reflecting on the project process,and put forward corresponding teaching suggestions,and further summarize the teaching strategies of music project-based learning.
