Abstract/Summary:
The rapid development of the mobile internet gaming industry and the rapid expansion of market size have attracted a large number of online gaming enterprises to join,which has made the competition in the online gaming industry increasingly fierce and profoundly changed the competitive landscape and situation of the industry.However,there are differences in capital strength,research and development capabilities,technological level,scale and market share among online game enterprises of different sizes;The top online gaming companies are less affected by factors such as macroeconomic changes,industrial policy adjustments,and market pattern changes.However,changes in the industrial environment have a significant impact on a large number of small and medium-sized online gaming companies,limiting their core development factors such as market valuation,financing ability,development direction,and profitability,and increasing uncertainty,Small and medium-sized online game enterprises urgently need strategic transformation in order to survive and develop in the fierce competition and environmental changes.How to successfully achieve strategic transformation and choose which strategic development path has become a key issue that such enterprises urgently need to solve.Based on this,the paper selects LD Company as a case study sample and uses PEST to analyze the external factors and internal driving forces of the company’s strategic transformation in the national macro policy environment and the fiercely competitive environment of leading enterprises;Analyze the current situation and development trends of the online game company industry,and use the SWOT model to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of LD company,as well as the opportunities and challenges that strategic transformation may face.Based on SWOT analysis,the paper proposes the direction of LD company’s transformation from diversification strategy to relative centralization strategy,and proposes targeted transformation measures and strategies.At the same time,the operational performance of LD company before and after strategic transformation is compared and evaluated to verify the effectiveness of LD company’s strategic transformation.The strategic transformation analysis and diagnostic conclusions conducted in the paper using LD online gaming company as a sample have certain reference value for similar small and medium-sized online gaming companies to find sustainable development paths that are suitable for their actual situation in the fierce market competition.
