With the continuous improvement of national living standards and car ownership, the increasing improvement of transportation facilities, the upgrading of tourism consumption demand to diversified and experience-oriented,and the promotion of relevant national policies,self-driving tourism has seen rapid development.Especially after the outbreak of major infectious diseases,self-drive tourism has become the main way to release the public’s travel demand after the epidemic due to its qualities of decentralized travel and freedom of itinerary."Since the 13 th Five-Year Plan, the development of China’s self-drive tourism has entered a critical stage of quality and efficiency improvement, whether in terms of development environment, policy regulation or market supply and demand, and is also undergoing internal and external challenges brought by the upgrading of tourism demand after the epidemic, industrial transformation and direct competition from international touring car camping manufacturers. In addition, the mental health and other impacts caused by the epidemic continue, and less research has been conducted on the demand intentions and behavioral attitudes of tourists, the main subjects of tourism.Based on this, under the development pattern of "double-loop",which is mainly to promote consumption and expand domestic demand,it is important to fully understand the change in preference of self-drive travel choice and willingness to travel behavior and its influence mechanism in the post-epidemic era,to help the public to restore tourism confidence and thus stimulate consumption,to cope with the downside risk of the epidemic impact on the economy, and to help the tourism industry to resume development. The key issue that needs to be solved is to help the tourism industry recover. In this paper,we review relevant domestic and foreign literature, introduce factors related to motivation, opportunity and ability of self-driving tourism, image perception of tourist places, and risk perception, and construct a model of influencing factors of behavioral intention of self-driving tourism after the epidemic, and analyze empirically with the help of software such as SPSS26.0 and AMOS24.0after collecting data through questionnaires.risk perception and self-driving travel behavior intention are higher.(2)In terms of the factors influencing the behavioral intention of self-driving tourism, the stimulus factors are dominated by the core of self-driving tourism motivation, with self-driving tourism opportunity playing a catalytic role and self-driving tourism ability playing a complementary supporting role.(3)In terms of organism factors, tourists’ image perception of the destination plays a key role, while risk perception plays a negative constraining role.(4)Bootstrap test is applied to conclude that image perception of the destination and risk perception play a part in mediating the influence of self-driving tourism motivation, opportunity and ability on their behavioral intention.Based on this, this paper puts forward targeted suggestions for promoting the stable, healthy and sustainable development of China’s self-driving tourism consumption and industry. The research is not only helpful to deepen and expand the theoretical study of self-driving tourism, but also helps to inspire the policy formulation of relevant authorities and the idea of precise marketing of corporate destinations.
