Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Psychological Education For College Counselors

Psychological education refers to the realization of educational goals through psychological counseling based on the concept of humanistic care.Since the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the Party and the state have attached great importance to psychological education,clearly emphasizing the important role of psychological education in ideological and political education in universities.In December2017,the Party Group of the Ministry of Education issued the "Implementation Outline of the Quality Improvement Project for Ideological and Political Work in Colleges and Universities",indicating that psychological education is one of the "top ten" education systems in colleges and universities.In July 2018,the Party Leadership Group of the Ministry of Education issued the "Guidelines for Mental Health Education for College Students",which pointed out that psychological education is an important content of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.The introduction of the two outlines clarifies the moral attribute of psychological education and emphasizes the important role of psychological quality in the growth and all-round development of college students.Under the guidance of Marxist theory and in combination with related disciplines such as ideological and political education and psychology,this article conducts an in-depth study of the psychological education work of college counselors,taking the concept and work content of psychological education as the research foundation,and focusing on the problems existing in the psychological education work of college counselors.It deeply analyzes the root causes of the problems,proposes corresponding solutions,and strengthens the actual effectiveness of education,Give full play to the important role of college counselors in psychological education.The paper is mainly divided into four parts.The first part mainly expounds the purpose and significance of studying the psychological education work of college counselors,summarizes the research results of psychological education,clarifies the research ideas and methods,and points out the innovation and shortcomings.The second part mainly elaborates the connotation,content,and theoretical basis of psychological education work for college counselors.The third part,mainly based on literature research,combined with questionnaire survey and interview methods,affirms that the psychological education work positioning of college counselors is becoming increasingly clear and the work platform is becoming increasingly complete,and points out the problems and reasons for the psychological education work of college counselors.According to the reasons for the problems,The fourth part proposes specific solutions based on the reasons for the problems from four aspects: following the laws of psychological education work,improving professional abilities in psychological education work,improving the mechanism of psychological education work,and improving the evaluation system of psychological education.College counselors,as the main implementers of psychological education in colleges and universities,have long been at the forefront of student work in colleges and universities,with a deeper understanding and more comprehensive grasp of the changes in students’ psychological needs,demonstrating unique advantages in psychological education.Therefore,this article selects college counselors as the research object of psychological education work,which is of great significance for promoting the implementation of the entire psychological education work in colleges and universities,cultivating students’ self-esteem,self-confidence,rationality,peace,and positive and healthy mentality,guiding them to gradually grow into new generations capable of assuming the great task of national rejuvenation,and achieving the educational goal of establishing morality and cultivating people.
