On 18 March 2019,General Secretary Xi Jinping mentioned at a seminar for teachers of ideological and political theory courses in schools,"If ideological and political theory courses are to be carried out well the most central thing is to implement the Party’s education policy on all fronts and to address the fundamental issues of what kind of people to train,how to train people and for whom to train people." Ideological and political theory curriculum is a core curriculum to carry out the fundamental task of establishing moral education.It undertakes the important task of training the new generation who bear the great responsibility of national renaissance and cultivating socialist builders and successors who are well-rounded in moral,intellectual,physical,social and aesthetic development.Ideological and political theory courses in the new era are given a new historical mission,it is necessary to integrate the Socialist Thought with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era integrated into the teaching of all courses,to use Xi Jinping’s thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a New Era to nurture the soul and educate people,and to guide university students to constantly enhance the "four consciousnesses",firmly establish the "four self-confidences" and achieve the "two safeguards".It will guide students to consciously participate in the struggle for the grand renaissance of the Chinese nation,ideological and political theory courses play an irreplaceable role.However,in the face of the great changes unseen in a century and the fierce collision between Chinese and Western cultures,the teaching of ideological and political theory course is also facing various challenges.Therefore,it is of great importance to deeply understand the learning situation of ideological and political theory curriculum of college students in the new era and carry out targeted teaching work to improve the effectiveness of teaching.This paper tries to through the learning situation of ideological and political theory curriculum of college students in the new era by means of questionnaire survey,and proposes countermeasures according to the existing problems and reasons in the study status,in order to enhance the learning effectiveness of students’ ideological and political theory courses.In this paper,questionnaire survey,literature analysis and comprehensive demonstration methods from the following four aspects of the study.The first chapter is the introduction of this paper.Firstly,it mainly introduces the background,purpose and significance of the thesis research,Secondly it compares the current status of domestic and international research,.Thirdly it elaborates on the research ideas and methods.Finally it elaborates the research ideas and innovation points of this paper.The second chapter provides an overview of the relevant research.Firstly,it defines the research object related to this paper,and secondly,it explains the relevant theoretical basis of this paper,as well as the learning situation of college students’ ideological and political theory curriculum including the main research contents,so as to lay the foundation for the subsequent research of the paper.The third chapter analyses the learning situation of the ideological and political theory curriculum of the new-age college students.This paper investigates the cognition,learning attitude,learning motivation and learning effect of the course by means of issuing questionnaires,and based on the first-hand data obtained from the survey,focuses on the problems of the new-age college students in these four aspects,which are mainly manifested in the deviation of some college students’ cognition of the course of ideological and political theory course,the lack of proper learning attitude,the existence of learning motivation and the lack of obvious improvement of learning effect.The paper then analyses the causes from four aspects: the guidance role of teachers needs to be further improved,the students’ enthusiasm for learning ideological and political theory courses is not high,the learning environment of ideological and political theory courses needs to be further optimized,and the teaching contents and methods are not innovative enough.The fourth chapter is the countermeasures to enhance the effectiveness of learning in the ideological and political theory courses of university students.This chapter mainly puts forward specific countermeasures from four aspects:improving the interactive enthusiasm of teachers and students in ideological and political theory course,mobilizing the subjective initiative of college students in learning ideological and political theory course,optimizing the environment and atmosphere of students’ learning in ideological and political theory courses,and promoting the reform and innovation of teaching in ideological and political theory courses with the concept of "big ideological and political course",with a view to improve the learning effectiveness of college students’ ideological and political theory course. |
