In order to promote the development of traditional culture, the state has promulgated a series of policy documents on "Introduction of Opera to Schools",and included opera into the art curriculum for the first time in the "Art Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)".Gaojia opera is one of the five major operas in southern Fujian, especially the performance art of clowns.Among them, the most distinctive one is the female clown of Ke Pai,which is famous for its stylized and life-like body performance, and is a treasure of the art performance of clowns in Gaojia Opera. How to integrate the performance art of female clowns of Gaojia opera with music classroom teaching, and truly implement the policy of traditional opera entering the campus is a topic worthy of in-depth study. In the past, when local operas entered the campus, they mainly focused on the investigation of opera teaching in four aspects: curriculum setting, teachers, student learning, and schools. The teaching of traditional Chinese opera should not be limited to the lectures of music teachers. In order for students to truly understand opera, the personal experience of "singing, reading, doing, and playing" opera content is essential. In order to understand the current situation of the female clowns sent by Gaojia opera to the primary school campus, the author went deep into the Quanzhou Gaojia drama troupe, watched the performances of Gaojia opera, interviewed the actors of Gaojia opera, and studied under the guidance of Ke Shuping, the inheritor of Gaojia opera Kopai female clown performance. On the other hand,we went to the Second Primary School Affiliated to Quanzhou Teachers College, the Gaojia opera primary school inheritance practice base,to investigate the school’s work in the inheritance of Gaojia opera. On this basis, this paper selects the classic play "Riding a Donkey to Visit Relatives" by the female clowns of the Gaojia Ke school as the teaching practice object. The teaching of singing tunes such as throwing tunes and supporting tunes,as well as the homework learning of the classic moves of the Ke School female clowns, such as"tightening hair" and "walking the disc",allow students to immerse themselves in the performance process of the Ke School female clowns in Gaojia opera, and deeply experience " The story of "Riding a Donkey to Visit Relatives" and the artistic charm of Gaojia Opera provide a teaching case that can be used for reference, thinking, and practice for the research on the inheritance and development of local operas in primary schools.
