With the promotion of integrated education, more and more mentally handicapped children are enrolled in regular classes in ordinary schools.Due to their own intellectual defects, mentally handicapped children often have certain difficulties in understanding and expressing, which also leads to frequent behavioral problems of some mentally handicapped children.Behavioral problems of mentally retarded students in the classroom,on the one hand, will affect their normal learning and other students in the class,on the other hand, will interfere with teachers’ teaching and disrupt the normal teaching order,so it is urgent to carry out effective intervention on these behavioral problems.Intervention on behavioral problems of special children has always been a very important research direction in the field of special education,Many studies have shown that positive behavior support programs have obvious effects in solving behavior problems of special children, and positive behavior support has been widely recognized and applied. This study used positive behavior support to intervene in the screaming behavior and out-of-seat behavior of a second-grade mildly mentally handicapped child in regular classes in ordinary schools.First, determine the research object, and on this basis, select and define the behavioral problems that need intervention, and then use the combination of indirect evaluation, direct observation and functional evaluation to conduct functional behavioral evaluation on the behavioral problems of the case.According to the results of functional behavioral evaluation, formulate multiple intervention strategies from three aspects: prior control strategy, behavior training strategy and consequence handling strategy, and carry out intervention in the school situation. This study adopts the cross-behavior multi-baseline design in the single subject study. The implementation process is divided into the baseline period, intervention expectation and follow-up period. At the same time, the data of the case changes due to weight change in the baseline period, intervention expectation and follow-up period are collected, and the visual analysis is used for processing and analysisThe research draws the following conclusions:(1)Functional evaluation plays an important role in the formulation of intervention.Using functional evaluation can find out the function behind the screaming and seat withdrawal behavior of the case, and provide a basis for the formulation of the research plan.(2)The positive behavior support plan has obvious effect on reducing the screaming behavior and out-of-seat behavior of the patients. The screaming behavior and out-of-seat behavior of the patients can be reduced to less than twice a day for two weeks after intervention. The positive behavior is learned and increased gradually, and can still maintain a high level of intervention after the intervention is cancelled.(3)The positive behavior support plan has good social effects, and the important others of the case have a positive attitude towards the implementation process and results of the study.
