The modernization of teaching concepts has been triggered by technological innovation and reform,and the teaching methods and teaching models have also been reformed accordingly.Based on the WebQuest model that integrates information technology and course teaching,network resources can be used for inquiry learning by students under the guidance of teachers.The scientific teaching concept of WebQuest has great reference value for changing the long-standing traditional teaching concept in China.Therefore,seeking a breakthrough that can integrate computer technology and education,improving the existing WebQuest model and forming a new teaching method that can cultivate students’ self-inquiry learning ability has become an important task that needs to be solved urgently.The purpose of this thesis is to excavate the problems existing in the existing WebQuest,and to update and iterate on the basis of the existing WebQuest,so as to better guide students’ learning.In order to distinguish the WebQuest mode before and after the improvement,here the improved WebQuest teaching mode is defined as the WebQuest2.0 mode.The research work starts from the investigation of the research status of the WebQuest teaching mode,the points need to be improved are analyzed and pointed out,and the reform is carried out on the basis of the original WebQuest teaching mode,the improved and upgraded WebQuest teaching theory and practice framework are built.At the same time,information technology is used to assist education and teaching,the Internet is used as the support of educational resources,and a small learning resource website is independently designed and produced by the author.This website made the workload of teaching resources integration by teachers reduced,so that students’ information-based learning is facilitated.Finally,the improved WebQuest model is used to carry out scientific practice teaching in primary schools,and its feasibility and effectiveness are verified,so as to clarify the value and significance of the improvement of the teaching model.It is concluded from practice that after the improved WebQuest teaching mode is applied to the teaching of science courses,the students’ grades are improved and the degree is obvious,the feedback effect of teachers and students is good.It is suitable for practical,exploratory and comprehensive courses,such as science courses,general technical courses,comprehensive practical activity courses,etc.Under the improved WebQuest teaching mode,students’ information science literacy can be cultivated to a certain extent,and students’ intelligence in all aspects can be developed.Guidance is provided by the improved WebQuest model to improve the quality and innovate the form of classroom teaching in primary education,and promote the reform of science curriculum in elementary education.
