After investigation,it was found that although a children’s council was initially established in the G community,the participation of children led by adults was often in a form,mainly manifested in the lack of awareness of participation in the process of children participating in the community,and the ability to observe the community and interact with others.skills and participation planning skills need to be improved.Therefore,awakening children’s awareness of participation and improving children’s skills in participating in community public affairs can promote children’s comprehensive and continuous participation in community public affairs.At the same time,it is also the role of social workers in the welfare delivery system.Participate in important tasks in community building and development.This research is guided by participatory development theory,supplemented by the perspective of participation in change and advantages to design group activity plans and guide group work practice,with the main purpose of improving children’s community participation ability.Taking G community as an example,this study uses participatory observation and interview methods to investigate the current situation and needs of children’s participation ability in G community,focusing on "participation awareness","active community observation","interaction and collaboration skills" and "participation planning skills" The four levels are designed for activities and carry out 7 group activities with related topics,namely group activities to enhance children’s community participation ability.In this study,the group activity evaluation stage is divided into process evaluation and result evaluation,focusing on whether group activities can improve children’s ability to participate in the community,from the aspects of group members,social workers,community residents and supervision.This study found that using professional theory and professional social work practice skills to carry out group work can effectively improve the enthusiasm and initiative of children’s community participation,especially children’s awareness of community participation,active community observation,interaction and collaboration skills and participation planning skills.,enhance children’s ability to participate in the community,children’s community participation behavior not only brings positive changes,but also drives children’s parents to participate in community activities.Finally,we reflect on the insufficiency of the research and try to put forward countermeasures,suggestions and research directions for the lack of children’s community participation ability.
