At present,in a period of diverse and changing forms of resource presentation,big data and information technology are profoundly influencing modern education,the more obvious effect of which is the transformation of the way curriculum resources are collected and used.Under the new curriculum,the direction of history teaching should not only focus on the transmission of knowledge,but should also shift towards deepening students’ experiences,implementing their education in the exploration of historical authenticity,aesthetic education and thus promoting their all-round development.In this context,diversification and personalisation of curriculum resources is the trend of the new era,and the use of drama teaching methods in the subject of history has given the classroom a new lease of life.This study explores the practical value of the drama method and the necessity and feasibility of implementing it in the high school classroom,looking at the standards of the high school history curriculum and exploring the practical requirements of drama teaching in past classroom examples.The drama method is used in the context of the new information technology and the value of students’ own experiences,with a view to exploring the’authenticity’ of history curriculum resources and deepening the sense of experience in the subject.By working with students to create historical situations in which they can understand history and historical figures and experience their state of mind and behaviour,they are able to pass on their knowledge while at the same time improving their education and moral character.In addition to collecting a large amount of material from the classroom and the drama competition,the curriculum is based on the Unified Edition of the Outline of Chinese and Foreign History,which provides case studies and lessons for the drama.At the same time,field research is conducted to identify problems in the classroom,and strategies are proposed to improve the understanding of the drama method in students’ history learning process,from script writing to rehearsal to presentation and evaluation.A quantitative evaluation index is proposed to measure whether or not the drama has achieved the classroom objectives.How to effectively use the drama method becomes an issue to be explored.The study of the development of the drama method and its current application can energise the history classroom,stimulate students’ individual initiative and enhance the interest of the history classroom,which is of great significance in implementing civic education and improving the quality of the nation.
