Research On The Construction Process Of Community Mutual Aid Network For The Physically Disabled From The Perspective Of Advantage

In order to meet the needs of the disabled,various groups and organizations have emerged in the current society to carry out relevant disability services.However,many organizations for the disabled do not start from the real needs of the disabled community,but based on the needs of the government,the value of their existence mainly reflects the leadership and administrative orientation,the lack of feasible practical strategies and sustainable development mechanism.At the same time,the existing disability assistance services are mainly from the "problem perspective",relying on external forces to solve the problems of the disabled,failing to see the resources and advantages of the disabled themselves.In fact,people with disabilities have the potential to change their lives and need self-help and mutual assistance.In some places,social work organizations make good use of the potential,self-help and mutual assistance awareness of the disabled,forming mutual assistance organizations and helping the disabled build mutual assistance networks.So,how is the network of mutual assistance for the disabled constructed? Or,how does social work help people with physical disabilities to build networks and play professional roles in them? What is the internal logic of the process of "building mutual aid network" which contains "service objective" ? Therefore,these problems constitute the topics to be discussed in this study.This research is based on a four-month participatory practice study based on the "Cohesion enhancement" mutual assistance service project of S Social work Service Center.During this period,the researcher used qualitative research methods such as literature method,participatory observation and semi-structured interview to collect data and find the key information that the research focuses on.In practice,the process,characteristics and action strategies of S social work service center to help the physically disabled build a community mutual assistance network were clarified and summarized.The main findings of the study are as follows:1.The construction of mutual assistance network for the physically disabled from the vantage point of view needs a certain theoretical and practical basis.2.The construction process of mutual assistance network for persons with disabilities is divided into four stages : relationship establishment,promotion of mutual assistance awareness,cultivation of mutual assistance backbone,and construction of community mutual assistance network.Such as excavating the personal potential of the disabled,carrying out mutual assistance group activities,establishing the backbone team of mutual assistance for the disabled,building mutual assistance platform for the disabled and other service strategies can help the disabled to build a mutual assistance network.3.People with disabilities can gain positive and positive power through mutual assistance networks,so that their lives can be changed.
