“We” In The Field:The Expression And Interpretation Of Social Identity Of In The Baseball And Softball Participation Of Mainland Taiwanese

With a series of preferential policies issued by the central government,more and more Taiwanese have come to the mainland for development.Some Taiwanese often participate in baseball and softball in the mainland.Based on the theory of social identity,this paper makes a field case study on the baseball and softball activities of Taiwanese in the mainland,analyzes the social identity expression of Taiwanese in different baseball and Softball Fields and the action logic behind the expression,understands their action strategy,order and symbolic interaction,and explores the identity of Taiwanese in baseball and softball fields.In order to further promote the development of social identity theory and provide experience support and policy thinking in the field of sports for the social integration of Taiwanese in the mainland.The survey found that in the process of baseball and softball activities,people from mainland and Taiwan often distinguish between "my group " and "they group" through "we" and "you".This expression has situational and dynamic nature,and has different cultural implications in different fields.In the competitive field,there is often a state of separation between all the teams on the field,while the team is in a state of complete integration;In the entertainment field,the players on the court are in a state of integration.The research shows that the expression logic of competitive field division is: the competition between teams forms the inter group symbolic boundary,which creates the division phenomenon,the team identity strengthens the division boundary between teams,and there are two different integration logic of homogeneous team formation and heterogeneous team formation;The expression logic of entertainment field integration is to form the interest group identity of baseball and softball in the symbolic interaction,and the reproduction of sports memory strengthens the interest group identity.Based on the above phenomenon and logical interpretation,it is further proposed that in the process of mainland and Taiwan people participating in baseball and softball activities,the identity expression of different team forms presents complex and diversified changes.In different field interactions,the boundary of inter group communication symbols is movable and telescopic.According to this,identity has situational and field characteristics.Through the above research,we can get the following enlightenment: first,take sports activities as the media to gather the interest groups on both sides of the Strait and outline the community of heterogeneous interest groups on both sides of the Strait;Second,by guiding compatriots on both sides of the Strait to form teams embedded in each other when participating in sports,and eliminating the inter group symbol boundary of compatriots on both sides of the Strait through heterogeneous team formation,we can realize the development of two-way identity integration.Third,while holding formal competitions focusing on ranking,supplemented by baseball and softball activities of leisure and entertainment nature,the local government should give guidance and support to the folk spontaneous friendly competitions.
