Basic science education is an important way to cultivate students’ scientific literacy.Primary school science and junior high school physics courses are part of basic science education.How to effectively link the two stages of education and form a systematic physics education and teaching system is of great significance to the enlightenment education and basic training of students’ core literacy.This study is based on Citespace software and analyzes relevant literature on the connection between middle school physics and primary school science curriculum education.It is found that the research content focuses on the research of connection strategies,textbook connection analysis,and curriculum standard analysis.From the number of literature,it can be seen that the attention paid to the connection between primary and secondary schools is not high enough,and there is relatively little research on the connection.The study first compares and analyzes the curriculum concepts,objectives,and content in the 2022 edition of the "Compulsory Stage Science Curriculum Standards" and the "Compulsory Stage Physics Curriculum Standards".In terms of curriculum philosophy,both adhere to the concept of developing students’ core competencies,highlighting the educational function,emphasizing the exploration process,emphasizing multiple evaluations,and meeting the needs of personal and social development;In terms of course objectives,the two have consistent development ideas and correspond one by one;In terms of course content,the requirements for knowledge between the two are basically the same.Physics content is a spiral upward stage of primary school content,and teaching content transitions from scattered to systematic.Taking the course content related to "Movement and Interaction" in the Qingdao edition of primary school science and the People’s Education edition of junior high school physics textbooks as an example for comparative analysis,it can be found from the textbook titles that there is a lot of knowledge in science textbooks closely related to junior high school physics,and the textbook content has a strong correspondence.There is a relationship between primary school science and junior high school physics knowledge points that are repetitive,supplementary,and progressive.To strengthen the analysis of learning situation,on the one hand,from the perspective of students,a survey questionnaire was designed based on learning interests,learning content,and teachers’ requirements for students.A questionnaire survey was conducted on the current situation,and it was found that with the increase of learning content,teachers’ requirements,and the need to improve grades,some students’ interest in physics learning showed a downward trend.On the other hand,a questionnaire survey was conducted based on the basic situation of teachers,curriculum situation,teaching situation,and connection situation.It was found that factors such as insufficient professional level of teachers and unreasonable teaching arrangements affected the smooth implementation of the curriculum connection between the two stages.Both primary school science and middle school physics teachers believed that the connection between primary and secondary schools was very necessary.Based on literature and current survey analysis,this study proposes effective strategies for connecting primary school science with junior high school physics,which are based on the learning situation,starting from students,and completing the transition in the development of thinking methods;Based on the curriculum standards and textbooks,starting from the content,accurately determine the connection points between the two stages,and complete the transfer of physics related knowledge;Based on teaching methods,starting from the teacher,using various teaching methods to complete correct pre concept guidance;Based on investigation and analysis,starting from the discipline,conduct academic research on connection and establish a systematic awareness of connection.Teaching design is a specific and important guideline for the implementation of bridging teaching,enabling research on bridging strategies to be put into practice.This study selected four courses: "Friction","Current and Circuit","Characteristics of Sound",and "Speed of Motion" to complete the case construction of teaching linkage design.Based on the analysis of the learning situation and guided by the system connection thinking,the four courses have respectively designed the connection between the content,teaching objectives,and teaching methods of primary and secondary school textbooks,enriching the existing case library,in order to provide reference for the connection teaching of middle school physics and primary school science courses.The paper concludes with a summary of this study,reflecting on the shortcomings of the research,and making prospects for the connection between junior high school physics and primary school science courses.
